I'll be taking a tent as I'll be sleeping in it on Friday night. As Alex says, it's good to get changed it and to store gear you want to lay your hands on quickly.

Snap. But the one I'm borrowing sleeps 8, in seperate compartments, with a central <s>living</s> dumping area.

Yes. Our (as in gill and mine) clothes etc will be in the tent as we'll be camping Friday and saturday nights....
Gazebo will house the spanner monkeys, spanners, alcohol, cakes and bikes if there is any room.

Last night I went out for a late evening ride hoping to get at least an hour of darkness due to the fairly bad weather. I didn't expect the clouds to clear at 9.30 leaving me out on the trails not needing to use my lights until 10.07pm [8D]
Average 8.8
Dist 14.18m
Max 29.4
Punctures 1
Mars bars 1
For Mat's info, it was a slightly extended version of our night ride taking in 2 loops of the reservoir and a climb over the hills at the back where we didn't go.

Didn't get to bike in today. Woke up too late to coiler (bah!) and road bike has a flat (BAH)
Got a new top speed of 41.9 the other day though. Without pedalling [:)]
Sounds funky HD, shall have to give it a go! Without coughing up my lungs on the first climb [:D]

And talking of Skinny Tyres....I'm currently disappointed at the lack of suitable smooth rubber on CRC's website. I do think this weekend the Road bike might might come down from the loft, and be looked over.

Good Man. You're definately getting quicker. What route is that? I <i>may</i> have to bring the roadie bike to the Midlands in the not too distant future....[:D]

Rode into work today, felt good. I'll do the full update later. But the good news is that I'm back on the bike and riding. Still not 100% - I can't push on the big ring yet, but that will come back shortly. Just need to lose the weight I've gained whilst not riding, but still keeping up the heavy 'cake training' schedule. [:D]
