24hr Cakefest Ultimate Updated Version 3

Right, as some of you may know, the Glorious Forumites fielded 3 teams in this year's Dusk2Dawn event a few weeks ago. After riding this event, many of those who valiantly rode and some of those who didn't expressed an interest in riding a similar event next year...

So, this thread will, hopefully, be the start of preparations for next year.

Event: Sleepless in the Saddle 24 hr MTB Marathon.

Location: Catton Park, Staffordshire.

Date: 11-12th August 2007

Cost: Approx œ190 per team (œ47.50 each for team of 4 riders)

Please post on here with the following information:

1. Your Interest in participation

2. Your level of participation - Competitive/Semi-competitive/riding/having a laugh/support crew

3. If you want to 'captain' a team (each team will need one)

Also please note, you have to be over 18 to take part (sorry Dan).

Entry fee for the event - it pays for all the marshalls, equipment, first aiders, insurance etc etc

3a. Wife permissions have been granted and we have an onsite caterer in the form of Mrs.D. Dont expect too much in the way of food after the second bottle of red wine, phil know this to be true [|)]
