Killing it slowly by all accounts, funny really as it was only replaced about 6 or 7 months ago.

Dude, I've a (bit old, but it works) non-disc deore rear hub on an old wheel if you want it? I can't use it.

Today's update:
Distance: 9.05 miles
Total Time: 35.18
Average Speed: 15.4 mph
Max speed: 57.1 mph (slip streaming HGVs FTW!)
Total Calories burnt: 649
Average Heart Rate: 147 bpm
Max Heart Rate: 181 bpm
Total Ascent 217 ft
Erm slightly inaccurate today as the battery died just after I left the office on the return journey. Average would have been around the 17 mph mark, nothing spectacular.

Anyone know what the course is like? Anything that requires full sus or would it be better off me just bringing both bikes?

I shall be bringing the XTC and the Coiler. Coiler will be a few lbs lighter than normal - tyres/tubes/seatpost/saddle/bars. The XTC will probably be a couple of lbs heavier than normal - saddle/tyres/grips/bar ends.
XTC for Uber-fast laps, Coiler for lazy-relaxed laps.

It appears I wont be around for the obligatory post race forum banter. As its the school holidays I've been conned into going away for the week following the race, ie I'm going on the monday morning.
FTL!!! At least one day at home would have been nice.
On the upside our remortgage completed yesterday so there should be some loose change to aquitre a freehub <font color="beige">and if the mrs cant see this bit, shift some to one side for a new heckler frame</font id="beige">

Ladies, I have a site survey in Barton-Under-Needwood which if you care to check your map, is a stones throw from a certain race venue.
I shall go forth, camera in hand and capture in its beauty, the track we shall be charging round.
Hopefully it'll be some time next week.
I would have prefered to go fishing that day, but meh. I'll take one for the team.

HD, you're a god among men!
Stu, 57mph is silly! <looks for a HGV to follow>
I'm taking a speccy rockhopper light type thingy and my coiler [:D]
Errr, Yesterday's times were about 12.9mph average - making about 7mph up the uberhill instead of my feeble 5 or 6... (It's a damn big hill) but traffic slowed me down in other parts. 1 hour and 11 minutes in total [:)] 41.5MPH max I believe [:(]
