Haven't ridden today, won't get to ride tomorrow, or Saturday - Work sometimes really does suck. That said, the overtime will come in useful.
Rich - pics of the trails/soil/terrain. Especially an damp or wet areas. It will be important for tyre choice.

Additional me thinks, I'm also going to do a shed load of ironing tonight, after I've filled a load of flower bags for the garden.
I'm buttering her up for some serious poundage in a bike shop.

Like Chris, I don't seem to be getting any faster, although I am finding it easier. Need a clear run, with no traffic to get a really good time.

Then again, you are really quite fast though. It's probably best to focus on how to do it getting the least hurt. The easier it gets the easier SITS will be seeing you're quite fast and endurance is the key.
Anyhow, I'm very impressed with both of your speeds. [:D]
