Best set up for this type of event is a 12W or 10W Spot, accompanied by a 20 Flood lamp, powered by a Li-on endurance battery.
That said, a NiMh battery will do just as well, but it weights twice as much, and won't last as long.
Make sure you get a fast charger as well.

Nice, very nice. [:D]
Not ridden all weekend - Coiler needs new bars and brake pads (ordered, just awaiting delivery) - XTC is currently minus it's seatpost (Fitted to the LRS Frame), but should get a few days of commuting in this week.
Have been doing a tad of fettling, fitting the componentry from Dan's XC bike to the LRS frame. First ride didn't inspire me at all TBH. I think I'm going to race on the XTC and bring the Coiler as back-up.

Which reminds me, next time I do the lights up properly before we start! As pleasant as it was to illuminate the moon, I'd prefer the ground to yield it's mysteries to me.

How can you climb that much in the midlands? Are we running up and down your stairs all day?
