TBH, the return journey, in the dark, uber-headwind and drizzle was a bit of a let down, that said, I couldn't have gone any faster safely. The back end kept stepping out if I stood up on the pedals.

OK, the thing that may prevent me from doing it is if my wrists are too painful, as I have a permanent condition with them making riding a bike offroad very painful most of the time. The pain does fluctuate though, and I have been told some things which will help. I'm letting Simon know at the end of the month whether I think my wrists will be OK to race.

So, yeah, leave me as a maybe. [;)]
