1. Yes you need a road bike.
2. You ride pretty much all the time, so your endurance threshold should be fine.
3. I must get my road-bike down from the loft and fettled, although I know getting 8sp Campag parts is going to be pretty difficult.
4. 4um Roadiefest? [}:)]

My road bike will, without doubt, be singlespeed. So no roadiefests unless we hold it in norfolk.

Pfft, The Midlands is relatively flat - my road bike when I had it in the Midlands had 56/44 chainrings and a 12-17 6spd cassette.
And then I moved to South Wales.......

Commuting on a mountainbike sucks unless your commute is moe than 50% offroad.
Riding a full susser along the road is a sure sign of someone who needs to step out of the closet.

This morning's training update:
Distance: 8.79 miles
Time: 34.44
Average Speed: 15.2MPH
Calories Burned: 608
Average HR: 134bpm
Speed is 'okay' as I'm nursing my leg. HR is down, which apparently means I'm either getting fitter, or dying.....
[:D]

And, you should see how nice and smooth my legs are this morning after shaving them last night. I've found that rubing in shower gel prior to shaving and baby lotion afterwards leaves them nice and smooooooth. [:D]

On another notem my brother in law might be coming for a laugh (at me that is). I'm not sure if its a good idea as a certain member of our support crew will drink more wine if he does.

There will be no wine consumed 2 weeks prior or during the race, apres race is a different story.

Yes, about that. I've talked to my cousin and to be honest she thinks her 5year old is a little too young for that..
..However, I completely forgot to have a look at the beer yesterday as I was running around too much to have some spare time. I'm working on Thursday again though and will write it down

No worries babycakes, I'll lift the glass to your mouth [:I][:X]
And for cashmonies I will also be available to lift glasses to other people's mouths *turns to the camera with a big smile* *BLING!*
Also, if the police catches me they will want to talk about other stuff first I reckon... [:I]

I'll ask Vin to ask Rickwai et al what's happening with their team!
Vin's still keen to go and possibly ride, although he hasn't moved his bike for a couple of months (mainly due to the front brake seizing on and me not being arsed to fix it for him!)
Not sure what's happening with Simon's team.....
