Now you see the speed and efeciency Team Cake moves with.
We will never stop moving foward, onward, upwards. Overtaking all that stand before us, crushing the opposition, never faltering.
Of course all of the above will stop if someone brings a good sponge.

Question: if we're getting a generator, is there any chance of hooking a microwave up to it to get some hot grub? The thought of cold pasta by the tonne is not a nice one.

I think we need a thread to decide who's bringing what. We don't want to be lumbered with too much malt loaf for example

I hardly use the net at home so its a ranom ocurance, a bit like a comet really.
I shall be on the first evening ride today, I have a sitter, a wife on holiday, an extra hour of daylight and some beer for the return and cleaning session.
All is good in the double household.

Tonight I have:
1 very muddy Coiler that needs to be extracted from the boot of the Audi and rebuilt, cleaned and put away.
A nice soak in the bath (for me) will probably follow that. Clipped a tree yesterday with my left shoulder, enough for me to leave the trail, but not enough to throw me off the bike. I woulnd't necessaraliy say it 'hurts' but it's a tad uncomfortable today.
Hopefully, if the Commuter Gods are smiling, I shall be back riding tomorrow. [:D]

As I'm a single parent until wednesday, thursday will (hopefully) be the first day back on pedal power.

Training Update (from yesterday):
Total time back up to 1:10 and average down to 14.3mph. However, traffic was pretty much at a standstill on the way home, which did have a detrimental effect on my return home speed.

I managed a paltry 8.6 average on an evening ride. However, I live in teh big hills, the first 2 miles of the ride averages 3 mph then there are a few steep descents which are over in less that a minuet, all in all not very good for giving an overall picture.
But over the summer if I can get the bas<s></s>tard above 10 I'll be fast as hell.
