Remco looks in phenomenal shape based solely on his final pull for the QS sprint train.

Somewhere along the way QS managed to loose Jacobsen. Handy having the second best sprinter of the rest in Morkov.

Sam Bennett won that with as much ease as Coquard, the day before.

  • A few technical issues delayed coverage by 90 minutes but San Juan now live.
Stage will be over inside 2 hours, so before live tv coverage starts. :#

There was a weird divider section in the final run in. Most of the peloton went right, Remco for example went left after his pull was done. Maybe Jakobsen went left as well with some of the others.

Remco stronger than the entire Ineos leadout again just as he was with DSM yesterday.

I watched the end of yesterdays stage, its nice to see some cycling again and see new kits etc, but otherwise it literally the worst coverage imagineable! You have to really love it to stick with it.

Have s3 of San Juan playing in background, did have Kirby incessant wittering but 👍 found the ambient sound option... but it does seem a bit err boring.

Yeah, he’s hard to like but it was a great win.

Bernal may have lost 2 seconds to the speedsters, but he led home everyone else.
A positive sign I would say.

Forgot to mention that the Mallorca Challenge starts today and for the first time, there is live coverage of each of the 5-one day races.
It all kicks off in Palmanova.

  • Only watched the finish of the challenge majorca, but that was good stuff.
  • Yes.
I thought they were going to be caught but Rui Costa is always cool in these situations.
A good start to his and Wanty’s season.

He absolutely waited beyond the point of rationality for someone else to go first. I guess Healy calculated he was happier with 3rd than 9th, whereas Costa wouldn't care.

This race coverage leaves something to be desired

Gaviria seems to be getting his mojo back (hopefully). Don't think Sagan had the speed to get around him regardless of his wheel choice.

  • San Juan wasn't less boring when we did have pictures.

I suspect todays rest day will be the best day of the race for viewers.
  • Super Jason Tesson has two on the bounce in Amissa Bongo.

Better bet than Peter Sagan for Total this season I reckon.

Yeah I think that's probably true

Missed the ascent. One of my favourite descents to do though.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Marijn van den Berg ends up in front when there is no time to sprint for the line. Nice work.

Vernon second, Girmay comes in third, just started too far back.

Strange twisty, damp finish in Majorca. Didn't really look like riders were racing for the finish, where Marijn van den Berg took slingshot through last cicane to victory.

    Bit anti climatic

There's no way that is where the finish line is on the race website.

I reckon it's about where I've put the cross.

Was a bit confused why the riders didn't know there was no distance to sprint.

I'm convinced most of them had no idea where the finish line was

^^that's what I thought. Reaction from the followers was consistent with them expecting a longer run to the line.

It was a surprise the line being there

  • It's also a pity that these races are taking place during the one week of Winter weather Mallorca has experienced this year.
Fine and several degrees warmer next week and prior to these races, the weather has been exceptionally good.
Instead it's very cold and wet over the next two days, which may mean snow on the Coll de Puig Major, which features both today and tomorrow.

Kobe Goossens adds to a really good start this season for Intermarché - Circus - Wanty with a win today in Mallorca (in Flemish weather).
