    Been a bit busy.

Got a date with MVDP Tuesday morning.

Christ - have they never seen a bike race before.
Aussie police have always been bell ends - when we lived in Melbourne they were like some petty fascist force. No sense of humour, no doft skills, nothing.

    not really, no.

the ones the MFs have recently come into contact with - over the past 4/5 years - American, Canadian, Italian and French - have all been cool, funny and happy to help.

    Aussie: not so much. Brit?Hmmmmmm.

Got on very well with NYPD on the street.
I imagine it would be very different if lines were crossed though.

Grand Central subway station... asked two policemen for some directions, very friendly, very helpful. I had just left them when I heard a scuffle... a man was on the ground and the two cops were over him with their guns pointing at him.... I moved away rapidly.

I lived in NYC for a year. The police are on one big ego trip.

I suspect nationally their body count is higher than the British army 😬

US police treat UK military differently to regular folk? Who knew?

I drove into Mexico once by, sort of, mistake with no passport , I queued up with the Mexicans in fear to get back into So Cal absolutely crapping it. Showed my Mil ID card, said sorry and was escorted in …. I doubt that’s the regular drill. #privilige

I think it's fair to say the Worlds won't be returning to the other side of the world any time soon.

The policing reminds me of the Ashes Tour my boss went to back in 2006/7.
