They aren't showing any live sport today as a mark of respect.
  • Does anyone know the timings for the various races, translated into BST?

I missed the TT yesterday as I didn't get up in time. For example, what time are we expecting the road race to start, finish, and have about 100k to go?

I wonder if Leo had the right name board on the car behind. Ethan's car had "L. Hayter"
Nothing on Eurosport app for U23 at the moment.

Men's RR expected to finish around 8:10 your time, assuming you're in the UK.

Ideal timing for here. 2:10pm finish, so time for a short ride before it gets to the juicy bit.

Now if the BBC stopped live broadcasting for the day as a mark of respect......

Remember people. In the Uk now 1 cancel = 1 respeck.

Absolutely mental to not even show it on an app when it's being run on the other side of the world.
Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.

    Sorry - they've done/doing what?

No live sport at all, from anywhere?
    .
The camera down the willy isn't anything like as bad as it sounds.

Today's sport is standing in a mass of humanity, taking selfies and phoning your Mum if you are likely to get your face on the tele.

WTF; the country has completely lost the plot; just give people the choice. It wasn't even clashing.....
Would be an absolute sickener if your child or grandchild was competing over there. Presumably not many of the families have been able to travel out.

You can compensate by watching the funeral but imagine Carlton Kirby is commentating
Warning No formatter is installed for the format

Oh you silly thing, you've really gone and done it now...

"Another one bites the dust. She really was somebody to love. Well versed in etiquette, extraordinarily nice. She had a kind of magic. But the show must go on"

The female junior TT champion is going to win the senior title within 3 years, possibly less.
  • So, I'm curious...

Do today's junior ITT results count as a New South Wales double? Granted I may be taking a slight liberty with geography...

Just wondering why folks are avoiding giving spoilers in the spoiler thread?

To give people a chance to watch on catch up given the time difference, but then it is a spoiler thread!

Double gold in the junior TTs for GB today.
  • Just watched it now, and that was utterly ridiculous, especially given how close the riders from third to eighth were. The gap from first to second is equal to that from second to twenty-sixth, ffs. Absolutely bananas.
  • I saw the gap, then saw the distance. 1:36 over 14km. She was 8% faster than second place which is incredible.
  • Josh Tarling (we're naming names now, right?) was also v impressive. Feel a bit sorry for Hamish McKenzie though, having sat in the hot seat for virtually the whole race.

She was quicker than ellen van dijk for much of the course, though different distances overall obviously.

Can't see it being to long when things change from "Zoe Bäckstedt daughter of Paris-Roubaix winner Magnus Bäckstedt" to "Magnus Bäckstedt father of multiple World Champion Zoe Bäckstedt"

Yes, but from next year that limitation will no longer apply.
