Lucas Hamilton cart wheels over the barriers.
Very interesting to be getting full race radio over the community

He abandons. Looked nasty even though he was barely moving when he hit the barrier. Properly landed on his head with the bike carrying on and getting stuck up a tree.

Currently things looking rosey for Ineos.
Rodriguez solo leader now and Martinez ahead of Roglic on the road.

Ineos 1st and 2nd on stage.
Evenepoel takes over GC from Martinez.
    Jumbo have shocker.
Vingegaard crashes with Vlasov on the final corner. Roche reckons it was a bit of argy bargy.
    Roglic way down.
    Drops to 8th on GC.

It would almost be better with a split screen for a finish like that so you can see the stage win and see what's happening behind.

I'm starting to warm to Evenepoel despite myself. Dragging that group off today made the race a lot more interesting than it might have been, totally shook up the GC, and it was quite funny watching him waving his arms wildly trying to get someone - anyone - else to take up the pace.

Looks like it also cost Martinez the leaders jersey.

    Really good race this one.

Evenepoel very impressive to rip it up and find out what roglic had today.

I thought Evenepoel was a little more hindered

    Really?
To me, he wasn't hindered at all on the video.
He was also a bike length or so behind the other three.

Today's final stage has a very familiar ring to it.

However, it includes the Krabelin/Matxaria Kalea climb to Arrate which is savage and probably the maximum danger for Evenepoel.

TV coverage should kick in around the Gorla climb. Looks like another good day.

Was the any conversation during yesterdays stage about Milan Vader's crash? First I heard about it was the BBC's sport page this morning.

Not that I heard. PCS had it at 74km to go, and the pics arrived on eurosport at 71km to go.

Sounds nasty, similar to Hamilton's one but a speed. https://road.cc/content/news/jumbo-vismas-vader-critical-after-basque-crash-291801

For anyone on Mads P watch pre Roubaix, he took 2 of 4 stages in Circuit de Sarthe (and a 2nd) place and was looking nailed on for the GC before a crash with 4km to go in the final stage took him out.
    He says he's fine.

This was his long power sprint for stage 3, looking good for Roubaix if he can bring that

Compared to him Nibali is consistent. Shame really, because he is incredible on his day.

Cough up some cash and get the player.
    Almost 80kms live today.
Anyhow, you are still going to get all the GC action and they are going to finish late.
Leaders just about on the worst climb in the race.

Yeah, thankfully they seem to be running late so no harm done.

Coming on 21 minutes late and still having to endure a trailer for the fackin speedway!
