No silver lining for JV. Being given a train and the chance to go for it WVA seemed to have his worst sprint of the race.

  • Bennett played that very, very cool to drop back to fourth wheel and wait.
  • Superb end to a superb tour.

Collapse in morale I suspect ... Most bitter 2nd step ever

Bennett got stronger and stronger after getting the pressure of his first stage win off his back.
  • Bennett and DQS pick a fine time for everything to click into place.

Week 1 it looked as if it wasn't going to happen.

Yes, he was pretty mediocre there.

When JV revert to type, they don't mess about.

I assume he just meant a new winner after Sagan's domination. I'd assumed Bennett was a relative youngster though.

Is it just me that felt a little sorry for Carapaz having to wear the polka today?

Stage went pretty much as expected, and that's a good thing.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Bennett's got one more good year, then he'll have the nerve to ask Lefevere for a pay rise and he'll be replaced
