Swift has come through his first GT very well.
Theuns badly ripped up in a fall and looking a bit annoyed.0 -
The lack of spectators is eerie; like the TdF version of 28 Days Later.0

Well weird"If I was a 38 year old man, I definitely wouldn't be riding a bright yellow bike with Hello Kitty disc wheels, put it that way. What we're witnessing here is the world's most high profile mid-life crisis" Afx237vi Mon Jul 20, 2009 2:43 pm0

How are they preventing spectators? I assume there's a cordon on all the approach streets.0

The new barriers and road furniture is a bit intrusive0

Completely pointless though seeing all the packed crowds along the route.mididoctors said:

Great news for Movistar.
Covid meant no champers and beer along the route.
Result? they have been fair barrelling along and will finish very early.
Meaning tv won't have gone off air by the time they mount the podium."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
Like the way they now go around the Arc de Triomphe; in the past they did a switch-back just short of it.
Maybe disadvantageous, though, to the break, because the field behind doesn't have to slow down as much as at a switch-back.0 -
10km for Porte to still have a whoopsie...Correlation is not causation.0

Was starting to wonder if they could hold it off then. 15 seconds with everyone at terminal velocity might have made a tricky chase.0
