    Tour de Yorkshire now cancelled.
The French Open moving to September so that Eurosport won't have any time to show the Vuelta.

Isle of Man TT cancelled, BTCC first 3 rounds postponed, as is most of the domestic UK motoracing scene, apparently a decision on the Le Mans 24 hrs will be taken next month.

Golf's second major, the PGA is now also postponed.

Meanwhile, the UCI are extending the season, initially to November 1st and looking to overlap races.

    https://www.cyclingweekly.com/news/racing/uci-extends-cycling-season-451978

I think they could easily go a couple of weeks further into November before there's much chance of the weather matching that at the early stages of the season.

I guess if they run of of time do all three grand tours, they could effectively merge them into one? When they get to the Pyrenees in the TDF, they could divert south and do the Vuelta and then, from the Alps, do the Giro before heading back to Paris?

    9 week Grand Tour anyone?

Start in Bilbao, through the Pyrenees, Vuelta jerseys for week 1; through Southern France via Ventoux& the Southern Alps, TdF polka; through the Dolomites, finish in Vincenzo, Giro jerseys for week 3. Throw in some loops for sprint stages.
Victory parade in Paris. Green and Yellow jersey for overall.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

A three week tour with Covadonga, Tourmalet, Ventoux, Galibier and Stelvio. Plenty of flat between the mountains.

    Fingers crossed.
From what the W.H.O are saying though, I think this may be premature.

Saw something else suggesting that an anti-malaria medicine, chloroquine, was also proving beneficial but I guess it's still early days and no-one wants to proclaim a potential treatment until they are certain.

Proposal: Run the TdF but make it very clear that it's thought likely that coronavirus infection rates will rise and if they do the race will be cancelled at short notice. Result: day after day of bonkers attacks as everyone tries to blag the yellow jersey when it gets canned.

A 21 stage 3000km TT. Keep your distance.
I wonder who would win that I bet the guys used to being on the front day after day might do way better than imagined

I propose a one off 3 week combination Grand Tour with a week in France, a week in Italy and and a week in Spain

    Clay court tennis season gone.
Amstel and Scheldeprijs can now be added to the pre Christmas classics.

More worryingly, Hearts have asked players and staff to take a wage cut of 50% because of the financial impact of the coronavirus.
The first of many such requests, I fear. Can only be a matter of time before the sponsorship well runs dry.

To be fair most of the players deserve a 50% cut, been brutal all season!

This machine to treat adavnced stage Covid 19 extracts the patients blood, oxygenates it then puts it back in the patient's body.

It looks quite big in that photo, but how many teams are wondering when they will make one that fits in a jersey pocket or bottle cage

The World Snooker Championship has been postponed.
Looking to re-schedule around the time of the TDF and Olympics.
Be just our luck if it goes ahead and the other two don't.
