Yeah I signed up today. Hopefully the Web version is launched by the end of the Tour, otherwise I'll have to buy a Chrome Cast. Seems good value from what I've seen so far, but very glitchy (although I guess that's to be expected with a brand new offering)

I can't see why it should take them 'that' long as they surely have all of the systems and infrastructure from the ES player to work from.

Good news below that a web version is nearly here, as that will be my main use.

I have been quick to criticise ES so I must say that the ability to replay as and when it suits is just perfect for me. Happy bunny today.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

I would say the glitchy-ness has improved in the past week so they are working hard on it

It's improved compared to their Zwift and Giro highlights coverage too. Casting seems much more stable.

Having said that, I just tried to watch the Round-up show thing in the bath ( 🐋🐳 ) and it restarted 3 times in the first 20 mins and then did some thing where it played sound but the screen froze and restarting it just played the new video under the old sound so I gave up...

That show has potential too though.

Having having said that, today is just a dumpster fire.

Can't make it work at all...

If we are talking GCN, it worked for me for most of the race but lots of issues. Especially on the final climb.

Worked fine for me throughout... Picture broke up a couple of times but I guess this was due to host broadcaster as I kept audio and it didn't last that long.

Worked fine for me on ES.
But I was watching after the end and rewound to the start of the climb.

I discovered that if I click on anything that’s listed in the schedule even previous days. It plays the programme/ race even if that race is not listed in the ones on demand. This is on an IPad.
This may be common knowledge to some. I was able to watch Milan San Remo from the start seconds after if finished.

That is genius, and I don't think used to be the case - I used it this morning to watch stage 1 of the Dauphine whilst on the turbo, and it worked perfectly, and with no adverts, so seems to be the GCN broadcast piece, but may have been a fluke.
The frusturating thing is that they have removed the easy search for 'cycling' programs, presumably to try and push people over to GCN, bit naughty really imho.

My experience of the race pass app has so far not been great, but worst case it is £19.99 wasted.
And as someone else mentioned, the race show or whatever it is called, would not go to landscape at all, I think I may have gotten sound, but howver many times I exited, and restarted, it was portrait mode only.

P.S I am actually Daniel B, but it logged me in once with an old account I used, and I can;t figure out how to get it to let me log in again, it seems to have saved these credentials, and I'm yet to figure out how to fix it - should probably just clear cookies, but that will wipe it for all the sites I use, maybe I should just switch to a different browser.
My mobile and work machine are unnaffected.

I find it sometimes gets stuck on portrait on my phone - but casting works very well, much more stable than Eurosport player used to be

I watched Lombardy on catch-up. Very good. Dauphine less so as it was missing the final 10km.

Really good job by GCN to get it ready prior to the Tour and the other GT's/Belgian classics!

No sorry. I'm just watching the European Championships as a vod on an iMac. Working well so far.

Anyone else having issues getting GCN to play the live feed for today?

The iPhone app terminates every 1 to 2 hours. Starting the app again gets the live feed back. It fine last week

Yep I couldn't connect on android or the web app for an hour and a half but could watch a stream showing GCN so assumed it was a problem with my account.
  • My live feed dropped out today and restarted about two hours back in time.

Only realised when Greipel climbed off for the second time, if you're wondering how well I tune out Carlton / how repetitive he is.

Nothing on Eurosport player as of now on the today's schedule catch up. Bugrit. Been out at work all day so... fortunately I have the ITV live transmission on record as a backup so can FF the interminable adverts.

On my IPad I can click on anything that has been on today’s ( and most previous days) schedule and get the programme from the start.
  • Further irritation - the Giro Rosa stage from today isn't available, or at least wasn't earlier. Ho hum.

It all worked for me. Watched uninterrupted all day. Then yesterday's Toscana and Luxembourg today.
Just go into schedule and select it from there.

Edit: Checked and the Giro Rosa works fine from today's earlier schedule.

Just watched Giro Rosa clicked on yesterday’s schedule. Stopped and restarted it several times with no problem.
