Nice finished there by Poels, and great ride for Jakob for the yellow.

Quintana drops out of top 10 GC.
He attacked early on the climb, was on Jakos wheel when he made his first acceleration... But disappeared.

The stage was much like the weather: a damp squib.

Poels could put his hand up for the leadership for Ineos at the Tour if Thomas doesn't go well in Switzerland.

It's a British team, so there's an orderly queue

Wasnt someone saying Quintana was packing heat this year?

Hes obviously going to be disappointing as usual.

Might as well take something to read if you're not going to be racing.

Both winners of super wet LBLs, Fuglsang and Poels.

Woods has abandoned the race. He's had a bad stomach overnight - Thinks he swallowed something in all the rain.

    Pity he was going well.
Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.

Today’s coverage on Eurosport player looks like it starts about 2:25pm, would like to watch from the start as it goes through some places we stayed on holiday a couple of years ago. Do any of the French TV channels show it all live, or is there coverage streamed from somewhere else where i could watch the whole stage?

Cheers - I’ve got a FTA satellite dish pointed at one of the satellites that means I can get German channels for free Grand Prix live coverage, so wondered if there were other European channels which might fit the bill for live coverage. It’s a bit hit and miss scanning them all and toggling through though!

    Highest on the GC is:
    H. PERNSTEINER
    TeamTBM
    Bib number154
    General Classification+ 05' 49''

Astana probably content to keep them within a few minutes and let them take the bonus seconds.
