If Sagan wins green again this Tour he’ll be the all time best for that jersey. He’s still only 29.
Next year (and I’m sure they’ve already thought of this), WvA vs MvDP vs Sagan is an open goal for the Tour, non?
Especially if they up the points available for TT placings...
That, plus a Froome comeback... already rubbing hands and still got this year to get through.

MvDP won't ride the Tour next year.

Might Sagan finally have some proper Green Jersey competition?

doubt it. he's quick but not that quick in a gallop. untested over 3 weeks?

Yes, mate. You’re down to 50% accuracy: happy to revisit this after he’s done his 3 weeks...

ooops. busted. some gallop. I take it all back. he's the best thing to happen to cycling since *** insert name here but must not be Merckx***

GC and wind have conspired to make the racing a tad negative. Fair play to the breakaway for battering through it.

They are struggling to make 30kph.
Rai talking a lot about Ineos and Capitano Geraint Thomas atm.

WVA still in the main bunch? They've not shown him dropped yet.

Ineos still want to practice for Bernal/Thomas I guess.

WVA has sat up having taken a pull for Kruiswick, Tom Dumoulin also having an easy one.

Looks like he'd forgotten there was a headwind when choosing his gear for the sprint.

Good finish between the first two. That final descent was a tricky one so glad everyone got down safely.

Doesn't seem to be live coverage on the telly today because of Le Mans

Does anyone know if there will be a stream, and what the stage timings are?

It's live over the weekend on Sporza, Rai Sport, RTBF La Une, France 3 and almost all European variations of Eurosport, including International, from around 2-35pmBST.
In other words, folks here in the UK are the only ones getting shafted, unless they have the Eurosport Player.

Best I can offer is to try the multitude of links here, they can't all be geo-restricted:

He posted on Twitter that his knee was slightly sore so they decided to quit and give it a couple of days rest. He's going up to altitude on Monday, so clearly has some goals at the Tour.

That means that he's b*ggered for Le Tour, according to his mate, last weekend.
    Reckons he's way under raced.

Huge storm on the final climb to Pipay at the moment, thunder, gale force winds, rain, hail, tempest, the lot.
The riders are on the treacherous wet descent down to la Terrace. Hairpins with 500 meter sheer drops on the other side.
