    When I was a lad we’d go down to the market for pie and mash and always stopped to watch the eel mans customers picking their choice of live eel from his draws then he’d would chop it up live right there in the street and sometimes they’d slide off the counter into the street, beats Punch and Judy any day.

    Had scallops last week. Missus loved them, tasted like something that would give you a really bad belly to me.

    Bought a kilo and half of rib eye. Will try and get photos but we have guests so they may look at me funny

    In all probability, they would think it quite normal (for you).

    Tonight ladies and germs, i'm having bangers, mash and beans.

    A quick easy thing after yesterdays home made Biryani, Naan, Paneer etc.
    Lamb was marinated for 24hrs. Paneer made the night before.

    Spagbol with 100g minced meat the rest was carrot, onion and mushroom, really tasty and much better imo with less meat

    Made my first risotto with prawns and rocket, very nice it was too just right.

    Buried under the prawns and rocket cooked to perfection creamy spicy and zesty all at the same time and I don’t feel bloated after two bowls

    I guess, if I used it to complement something in a more considered fashion, it would be better.

    But here's another clean pie dish to wind Hoppy up. Fish and Cod in white sauce BTW.
