I think I'd be happier with a few Renshaw head butts than that elbow0
-
Sagan having words with Bernie at the DD bus.Correlation is not causation.0
-
Much as we all love Sagan that looks awfully deliberate*
*not in a "I'm seeing you off the bike and into the barriers" but certainly in a "you're not getting through" way.Trail fun - Transition Bandit
Road - Wilier Izoard Centaur/Cube Agree C62 Disc
Allround - Cotic Solaris0 -
Dave Millar letting us know that the danger of bunch sprinting is the reason why he never got involved with it.0

BigMat wrote:Poor Cav. Any news on G? No time loss presumably, but hope he's fit for tomorrow. Hate crashes taking the major players out before you even get to see them race properly.
He looked fine pedalling in with Kwiato and Henao0 -
"Really dirty". I'm loving the disgust of the Dutch commentators.Correlation is not causation.0

So will any action be taken against sagan or will thye whitewash it?“You may think that; I couldn’t possibly comment!”

Ask Sagz about the elbow, journos0

Interesting market movement on Sagan for the green jersey. He finished 2nd, Kittel didn't get any points, but his implied probability has nearly halved (odds doubled).0
-
So I haven't watched any of it, but I'm not a Sagan fan... so I say disqualify him.0

Yes, let's also concentrate on how good Demare's sprint was. It was a perfect sprint.Correlation is not causation.0

Cheers, no pictures here so I'll go easy on Sagan for now! At least Cav can get a proper bit of rest now for a few weeks, probably what he really needs. Come back stronger next year.0 -
Brilliant sprint from Demare.0

Cav's acceleration was looking very tasty there, was in with a very good shout0

What? Cav has days when he's happy ?"The Prince of Wales is now the King of France" - Calton Kirby0 -

Apart from Demare cutting Bouhanni off...It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.0 -
Had the sound off for the post patch analysis, so It looks like I'm going to have to watch the highlights later.
Watching the various slow mo's - I'm not sure there was a gap there for cav, but still looked bad from Sagan0 -

I picked him in PTP as I thought he was in reasonable form and often does well without pressure.0 -
I'd throw him off the tour for that - he knew what he was doing and has probably just put another rider out of the race as a result of his recklessness. Video don't look good for the WC0

According to them they're sure that Cav just came round him at the wrong moment. Sagan was having a right go at Greipel as he crossed the line though. Bloody terrible crash, but I would hang back from burning Sagan at the stake just yet.

True dat0 -
Overhead looks like Demare cuts left cutting off Bouhanni, Cav tries to follow, Sagan in the way coming right?"A cyclist has nothing to lose but his chain"

Well I miss timed that.
Caught the Cav crash replay. That was it.
Sagan using his elbow again, right?0 -

Exactly! Not a Bouhanni fan and chose Demare today... but he proper cut NB up0 -
Lotto Soudal DS saying that Griepel has already accused Sagan of unsafe riding this tour, and again today...0

Yep. And the Dutch Europsort commentators seem convinced Sagan also caused the Thomas/Kittel crash.
Lotto Soudal DS is not impressed, Greipel is apparently saying Sagan is not his friend anymore.Correlation is not causation.0
