A brutally mountainous Vuelta or Giro? Non? Time will tell.
Too much too young taking it's toll on his body is my guess. Take 2018 off from GTs and maybe.
Focus on the climbers jersey otherwise. A poor prologue/TT could sort that out.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

No, that's Coppi. He's long gone.
  • Big day for Quintana, especially if he's transferring between clubs next season

He's going to play for The forest of Dean CC?

Well he's done a poor job of faking it.

Smashing effort from Roglic I thought. Froome looked well, looks like he's timed his peak.

I'd like to think Duran Duran has it in him to have a go tomorrow on the Lizzard.

Can they dig out enough of Froome's TT, I don't think so? Obviously different tomorrow as a mtf, but he looks strong, rather than hanging on.

Uran was a decent TTist, until he moved to c'dale

I think the TT would be more telling if:

    A) It was on Friday instead of Saturday and
    B) It was longer.

I think, barring accidents, Froome has no.4 nailed on. No.5 may be a step too far.

Tomorrow I see Froome pulling out 45sec-1min on Bardet and Uran whilst Landa half wheels him for the last few hundred metres up to the line shooting sideways glances suggesting 'I could go past you if I was allowed'.

Hence Froome having difficulty winning no.5. Landa looks a boss in the mountains. Next few years will be interesting as the next generation get given the teams.

If Froome had supported Landa more, it would be a Team Sky 1-2

and there's a limit to the amount of French spit he can handle (at least delivered like that).

    That's an odd perspective.

    Like 2012 you mean?
I'd hazard a guess that Froomes new contract with Team Sky designates he is team leader hence Landa off next year
