The French are looking good for a TdF winner in the next 5 years. Keep an eye on Guillaume Martin. You heard it from me first.

No, I didn't. He does look good though.

Two years ago I thought it was going to be Warren.

Tosser. 'No fatigue'?! It was only a short stage.

He is commenting on the longer stage the day before.
    Still a tosser though.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

If you think that this year's TdF still boring, then I'll suggest that road racing is not the spectator sport for you.

Been watching it for thirty years and it's not been the best. Picked up over the last few days though. Looking forward to the Izoard

It's certainly getting more interesting a little, maybe. If only Landa takes the decision to go against team orders to improve the move. Even Uran is in the mix.

Uran's the man. If only his TT form hadn't dipped over the last couple of years.

Uran is the jolly bloke next door.
Froome is the "what the heck is all this about?" man
    Aru is just butt ugly.

Froome's the dull bloke from work. Whenever he's at the coffee machine, he just talks about work stuff. He has a brief case.

...and Quintana is a busted flush. It is interesting not knowing what will happen next, but Landa could very well be the joker in the pack

Quintana will only ever win GT's that are brutally hilly where any TT losses can be recuperated.
Anyway, he came to the tour with no cards up his sleeve after failing in the Giro. Few riders would be 100% going from one tour to the next. The targeting of tours and peak condition in the modern era prevents individuals from realistically attempting more than one.
I just wonder if the ranking and qualification of tour teams has to be done on a different basis. I mean Hinault rode the classics even though he hated them. Froome and the like wouldn't go near one.
Then no rider would be able to be micro managed and go into a tour in 100% condition.

Either that, or take a leaf out of the Giro organisation.

Quintana chased quite well on stage 14, and we know he can ride away from Froome when it gets steep.
Maybe he's saving himself for week 3

Just like he saved himself in the Giro for Le Tour?
Possibly, but I doubt it. Will be good if he does though!

I think the logic is that the only remaining MTF is possible. Worry Barglue might have other ideas and he's going like a TGV on lighter fluid.

A Frenchman in polls dots going faster than expected you say? Hmmmmm. Those French "fans" need a reminder. I can understand them not liking Froome but their behaviour today was shocking.

I think things are being over-stated a little. From what I saw it was just booing for a few corners of a climb as Froome chased back on. Is that classed as shocking considering those making the noise feel they have the chance of a home win for the first time in a long while? Seemed fairly harmless to me and added a bit of theatre.

It was over the top in the angry venom aspect to the booing, leaning forward right in his face. From a high percentage. I thought it was shocking coming from the nation of cycling "fans". Sign of the times? Thought we were evolving.

No-one should be booing, regardless what they think of him. If they don't like him, fine, they can support who they like, but this was dreadful.

A brutally mountainous Vuelta or Giro? Non? Time will tell.

he's a titch. Perhaps there should be a separate category for the under 5 feet lot. It must be disadvantageous with 120mm crank arms. Have you seen how tall Taylor Phoney is?!
