Sagan went in between 2 riders making contact with both. One could argue that if he hadn't, he would have had to brake and would have probably hit the deck but it was like rugby.

I always thought sprinting was the contact sport aspect of road racing. Well, not usually actual contact, but definitely the threat. Take that out and it will be like modern day football.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Quite true, but I don't think it's the ultimate objective :D

Rolling around on the floor feigning an injury (Ramos style) would drop you down the order.

Not the objective, but a means to achieve the objective.
There are no namby pamby sprinters.

Sagan is riding high on his status and high on some recent wins which were not immediately forthcoming when he left Tinkoff. It seems his actions were a bit brash but he did have the humility to try and find Cav immediately and apologise.
Perhaps an escalating arrogance has been permanently nipped in the bud and that will be his Suarez or Zidane moment over with. Then this DQF won't be in vain and we can look forward to a slightly tempered Sagan.
I don't want to see a repeat of this in any shape or form. To me he is a living legend and hopefully will be put in the Merckx stratosphere come the end of his career without being marred by certain actions.

Watched the final climb on some sketchy app on my phone at my desk. Aru did look strong on that attack. Left 'em for dead. Froome, Porte and Ragga Tip responded well. Will Martin be in the GC mix do we think? I think Froome will start to peak in the third week rather than be clinging on for grim death. I reckon I could drop Quintana going uphill at the moment, and I climb like an asthmatic snail.

I'd still be a big lad if I lost 5kg. 10kg and I might look like a proper cyclist.

I have short legs, however I still managed to overtake 6 (six) cyclists on the commute home today, including a lady on an E Bike.

I'm 85kg at 185 cm. 4 years ago pre bike commuting I was 105kg. If I were to stop drinking, I'm sure I could be high 70's quite quickly. But I'd need new clothes, so it's cheaper to drink until my liver packs up.
