That's odd. Says E3 until 2pm and then they show an hour of yesterday's stage before going live to today's. Wtf.

Is it highlights of last years E3? Sort of thing Eurosport like to do. I've been caught out when recording a few times like that

Surely the 1-2 broadcast is last year's. Will it even be finished by then?

E3 also on Eurosport from 4.30 to 7pm

Hopefully this is the full race just delayed broadcast.

Eurosport player is showing the UCI channel as E3 from 1400 till 1630. I presume this is the commentary-less (bliss) or with local commentary.

Ben Hermans is a DNS. With Dennis already gone, TJVG is a little light on assistance.

This race hit the big time yesterday when it got coverage on the sports section of Wales Today. Big corporations are now no doubt queuing up to have naming rights!

It got a mention on the BBC Wales news bulletin after the ten o'clock news as well.

Did anyone notice just how slim Hugh Carthy was as he was getting spat out of the peloton t'other day. He looked unhealthy.

He's always been a streak, even as a teenager. And yeah, even by climber standards

Sky drilling it on the front. CK coming out with Terminator references. But more importantly the Sky undershirt (vest) does not look good - almost on a par with black socks. They've got those too.

Contador actually is getting some team support this season.

Big attack with Froome following. G's distanced slightly, dunno if he can pace back on.

  • oh G, give up the GT shiz

Yates and Froome are such a contrast - Yates is always turning quite a low gear, and he's pretty short, then you've got Froome who's lanky and spins ludicrously fast.

Valverde wins, took a chunk out of Contador - about 10-12 seconds.

Froome made second ahead of Contador.

Just to point out Carthy got 8th in the end after looking like he was dropped. Good ride.

Pretty impressive kick from Valverde there from a fair way out for him. Dont recall him doing that too often on long and steep climbs

Haven't seen someone ride away from class of the likes of Bert and Froome that easily for a few years.....

They are too busy calling dopage on Valverde.
Those teenagers are a hilarious bunch.

Were their roles reversed, Marc Soler would have won.
Overall a stronger ride than his soon to be, 37 year old, boss.

A word on the race coverage: Shiite.

How boring would race have been of Rojas had resisted touching his teammates' bottoms?
