Cor, what a great preview.
Stage1:-
The TTT stage. First 4 over the line for the time taken, not 5.
The rest in order:-
That's my twopence worth."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
-
Martin on twitter complaining that 3rd on a stage is only worth 50th on GC - saying it promotes negative racing.

So a fixed camera on the finish line and not much else then?0 -
Apparently there is a breakaway with a 2 min advantage over the peleton. Peleton currently enjoying the contents of their musettes.
No idea of names or numbers of riders involved.0 -
Break now 40s. Nibali jr, Rolland, Affonso and Nazaret(?)0
-
ASO are involved with the TV coverage so it could be OK, assuming that was referring to this year.0
-
And right on cue, they pop it up.0
-
Bol and Domont were out in front, about to be swept up by peloton. 25km to go.
It's CK (&Magnus) commentating, so my telly is on mute. 6Music are not giving race updates surprisingly0 -
10km to go. 4 Sky on the front. Groomed not one of those. G 3rd wheel. Stringing it out a bit0
-
7km to go. 6 Sky leading it out, Cofidis and Lotto Soudal on their coat tails0
-
5to go. Gautier attacks0
-
3km to go. Gautier reeled in, sprinters' teams battling it out0
-
2km. Little Pete goes0
-
Final km. Pete caught. Greipel 4th wheel. Maverick there too0
-
Photo Nacer and ?
Greipel boxed in0 -
tight finish0
-

-

I like Bouhanni, sprinters should be a bit ballsy and full of self confidence, and he is. Somewhat contrarily though, I like it when he gets beaten by FDJ riders other than Demare. It must really p!ss him off.0

The problem for him though is that if you are a bit cocky and aggressive, but don't back it up with results, then you just end up looking like a bit of a be!lend.0 -

53 pro wins at the age of 26, including 5 GT stages would suggest that he does back it up with results.0
