Brailsford to be asked to resign!!

The Daily Mail have got more things right on this than Sky have.
Rich is right about taking it up to the line but not over it so it may be that in SDB's mind that he can reconcile what they have done as being legit.
If that is the case I still struggle with the shifty excuses which turn out to be incorrect/lies.
Anyway Paris Nice this afternoon.0 -

Clarity can only come from the UKAD report. It won't satisfy all, or indeed many. But hopefully it will be soberly presented and properly investigated. There are questions to be answered, but the media are not currently providing a suitable platform, hopefully UKAD will (although I have my doubts).
With respect Rich, will the UKAD report cover testosterone patches turning up in a delivery? No.
How so, Joel?
It was the UKAD investigation that discovered the delivery."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -

Can anyone confirm, has any actual wrongdoing been uncovered? Or is it mostly bad smelling stuff but that's about it?Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0

You'd need to define wrongdoing. I think there's been lack of record keeping and non-notification of loss of personal data.
Not sure whether DB paid for his use of the contents of the British Cycling medicine box, if that would count.
Doping side just an odour.0 -

With Sky and BC are being so uncooperative do you believe that UKAD are equipped to conduct this investigation. It took them thousands of hours to not discover what was in the jiffy bag.
Well the Mail's 'sources' seem to know exactly what was in the jiffy bag..... maybe they're on record with UKAD.
That's just it; it's laughable.
We have a 'source' tipping off the Daily Mail about what was in a jiffy bag in 2011. Sky have said it was Fluimucil. Presumably this is not consistent with what the 'source' said was in the bag? Sky are unable to corroborate their claim due to pitiful record keeping (according to Sky). Consequently, UKAD are unable to corroborate Sky's version. Or any claim to the contrary. Likewise, the source is unable to corroborate their claim and as such, this and further claims/accusations are left dangling as unsubstantiated/unproven speculation, sparking additional unsubstantiated/unproven claims by other sources in respect of other misdemeanours and the 't'is v t'isn't' argument rumbles on ad infinitum...........
Meanwhile, there is still no evidence of any rules being broken and no doping violation or cover-up. As per UKAD.0 -

Yes I think using the BC/Sky medical supplies as a personal medical service for the entire staff is probably a bit naughty.
Personally think they should all be sacked just for that and the awful record keeping.0 -

Surely we need to define 'wrongdoing' as per the 10 ADRVs clearly outlined by UKAD.
* The presence of a prohibited substance or its metabolites or markers in an athlete’s sample
* Use or attempted use by an athlete of a prohibited substance or a prohibited method
* Evading, refusing, or failing to submit to sample collection
* Whereabouts failures: any combination of three missed tests and/or filing failures within a 12-month period by an athlete in a registered testing pool
* Tampering or attempted tampering with any part of doping control
* Possession of a prohibited substance or prohibited method
* Trafficking or attempted trafficking in any prohibited substance or prohibited method
* Administration or attempted administration to any athlete in-competition of any prohibited method or prohibited substance, or administration or attempted administration to any athlete out-of-competition of any prohibited method or any prohibited substance that is prohibited out-of-competition
* Complicity: assisting, encouraging, aiding, abetting, conspiring, covering up or any other type of intentional complicity involving an ADRV or any attempted ADRV
* Prohibited Association: associating with a person such as a coach, doctor or physio who has been found guilty of a criminal or disciplinary offence equivalent to a doping violation
Ordinarily, one would presume sufficient proof/evidence required in order to pursue a charge in respect of any one or all of the above...0 -

BC don't use cortisone to treat rider's dodgy knees: fact.
Which kind of makes it very odd that they would issue it like smarties for nefarious acts."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -

Hey, I'm not a management consultant...0 -
Does anyone know if the UCI rules that apply to pro race (e.g. no needles, in and out of competition cortisone) also apply to the other cycling disciplines - including BMX and MTB? I can imagine a fair few injuries in those that could use a cortisone injection, and BC covers them.Warning No formatter is installed for the format0

"Some of the comments made about Team Sky have been unreasonable and incorrect"
We got policies and procedures: https://app.box.com/s/8fiqxj1veckqjom9dhzb2erti45dx77i0 -
Well that's a pretty concrete rebuttal.
My impressions:
Some stuff I didn't know about flumicil
Some stuff I didn't know about prescriptions in France
Language is very much "throw-the-doc-under-the-death-star". It seems it's hard to get reliable details out of him "we believe he uses it in his practice.." (should have been easy for him to confirm), "according to Dr. Freeman..." (he said this but we cant verify it's true)
The whole Dropbox thing is actually very believable - who hasn't worked with someone that forgets to update documents on a shared drive? Especially when they're busy with everything else that's their "real" job. I bloody hate it, and it's password policy....Warning No formatter is installed for the format0 -
BBC Sports Breaking News
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cycling/39198422
Only it isn't breaking news - Nothing new there. Not sure why this warrants headline status unless the BBC are about to deliver a killer blow.
Looking at the BBC's cycling page, is Dan Roan and co getting paid extra for the BC/Sky articles that they write? No mention of any actual racing other than a couple of articles on the Para Track Worlds. In the past there would have been write ups on the beginning of the Classics season, Paris Nice etc. I can only assume they have sacked their cycling reporters.0 -

Roan's as bad as Lawton. Neither seem capable or interested in actual investigative journalism. Why bother, when you can just sling mud around and watch the masses lap it up.0 -
lol at the fanboys on here.
DB needs to go, its a farce he hasn't done the right thing already. The whole thing stinks to high heaven. Shambles.Blog on my first and now second season of proper riding/racing - www.firstseasonracing.com0 -
