IS DDWV on any feed this afternoon - apparently, the weather is vile which might well make for a spectacular race

A bit late I know, but it was on http://nieuws.vtm.be/sport with no geo-restriction! Maybe all the Napoleon Games cup races will be?

Thanks - will log it into favourites for future.

You will be needing it next Friday for the Handzame Classic.
It's the next race in the series.

Eurosport have Nokere Koerse live on Wednesday, too.
So Belgian race coverage has been stepped up this year.

    I found the Napoleon Games Cup page - http://www.napoleongamescyclingcup.be/n ... e-classic/
Cannot read a word of it (although lots of words kinda look familiar / readable) - but useful for timings etc

Basically a village race is Noreke.

They're very proud of it there.

Commentary is always a little patronising to them.

My first thought there was that the elevation graphic had the worst use of Photoshop's clone tool I'd ever seen.

Then realised they were going in circles.

Watching last year's MSR - forgot how much of a crash fest it was. Crazy.

A bizarre incident in this race where Kris Boeckmans (Lotto) decided that another rider was riding too dangerously to be at the front.

The last 10kms was flat out bonkers.
2 big crashes, one with a face plant, the other with the whole Joker team going tree hugging and another small crash that caused a road block.
Kris Boeckmans escorted Jules Justin out the rear and gets dqf'd as a result.
Rayne Bouhanni out did his big brother in the tantrum stakes. Threw a right wobbly after what looked like a very average spill. Much hand wringing and hopping about, he then booted his helmet 20 metres into somebody's garage. He promptly followed up by jumping into the Cofidis car to quit.

Blimey, I don't think I've ever seen a stunt like Boeckmans pulled there

Slightly disappointed not to have heard a 'fools to the left of me' gag during the joker crash.

That was all a bit unexpected, wasn't it?

It was like some weird CGI in the middle of the bunch. I had to rewind a few times.

Indeed. I caught the last 5km on Eurosport last night. As the sprint winds up he says that Bouhanni has disappeared, when clearly Bouhanni was stretching out a lead... his inability to accurately reflect what's going on is truly bizarre!

The next race of the Napoleon Games Cycling Cup is the Handzame Classic.

    C66X_2RWkAAsvZG.jpg

Eurosport have live coverage tomorrow from 2-45pm, but only on the player. (so probs no commentary)
No sure about that VTM link. I have failed to get any live video for them, or La Deux (RTBF) who are also showing the race.

I think the VTM streaming starts late

Livestream (VTM, vanaf 15.20 uur) - which I presume is in about an hour

For those that need a home interest from the UK Adam Blythe & Andy Fenn (AquaBlue Sport), Jacob Soct (An Post Chain Reaction, Charlie Quarterman (Leopard), and James Shaw (Lotto S) all at Handzame.

Is it just CCC's bright orange kit (not quite such a nice kit as old Euskatel Euskadi) tht make me notice them or are they everywhere this year and last

    Sounds like it's another corker.
Wind has chopped the peloton into about 5 pieces.
No doubt, it'll all come back together just in time for tv. :P

    front group with 63 riders

Just realised that hearing riders interviewed in Dutch is still more instructive than Carlton Kirby and far less annoying

They talk for at least 15 minutes, so I would think that Eurosport won't be far behind, when vtm eventually start up.
Good to find that link working, though.
Eurosport just about done with the skiing, so they should arrive in under 5 minutes.

Live on Eurosport with less that 45km left now, looks like a lead group with 25-30s and then just trying to figure out what's going on behind... Looks like one bunch behind.

Is that Blythe in the whiter than white all white kit? Looks blinking awful, and I would imagine very impractical, unless he has personal sponsorship from Persil*

    * other brands of laundry detergent are available

Nice to see that Sky have recycled last year's kit, Leopard Natural looking good in it.
