Cadel Evans all muddy and that in the WC JERSEY.

    GIMME MORE
Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.
  • Genuinely just got a shiver down my spine remembering that stage with Cadel in the WC jersey.

I enjoy Le Samyn a lot tbf, nice little race. Can't believe Paris NIce starts on Sunday!

I completely missed the early season stage races. How has Degenkolb been looking?

    Che tappa.

If it's like that on Saturday there won't be many finishers.
It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.

And lumps of crap out of his own eyes by the looks of it. I remember thinking "Christ, if even Vino looks (more) miserable (than usual)..."

Is Le Samyn going to be as good as last year without Scott Thwaites?

Great race - 10 years old, looks 100. More of this, less ball-cocks on F1 circuits.

    Exactly this.

Wet and potentially windy on Saturday. I think this could be quite 'open'. Trying to engineer a situation so I can watch this whilst decorating

Whilst worth a bit of ingenuity - not sure SB is worth going overdrawn in the marital harmony account; you need to be in good credit with PR RvV etc still come

Could lead to some inspired decorating - green walls with swooping white trails across them...

:D - Yep, such a busy time of year. 'TV negotiations' over the next 3 months could prove more tricky than Brexit!

    Rick, yes it's on Eurosport

Just tuned in on eurosport player - coverage started at 1445, first ad-break 1448. Looks disgusting out there

    Quietly epic.
They have the conditions everybody wants for Saturday.
The bunch breaking up every time they hit the mucky pave.
No riding on the verges today!

Awesome - will be watching the highlights on ES later.

Madness that a supposed WT event on Sunday had the same weather conditions and was an appalling advert for the sport.

Move the same sport a few 1000km north-west and stick in it's heartland on a challenging course and its brilliant. And this is a '3rd level' event.

Cor that was a bit grim for them eh. Loved it. The joys of working for yourself from home!

Great stuff - the 2 Pro Conti boys sticking it to the big teams. Kirsch just wouldn't lay down.

Quigly trips over his words occasionally but he's great on races like this - shows great enthusiasm for whats happening without resorting to Kirby's unnecessary histrionics.

    Ooof enjoyable that one.

Head and shoulders above the rest mind.
  • That did not disappoint. Grim riding, much like my trip in North Wales yesterday, (and, looking out the window, like my commute to work in the morning)

CN described it best when they said "The final sprint played out almost in slow motion, as both men struggled to keep their gears turning on the uphill drag to the line."
