I've lost track of the point that Stevo's making. Something about the Telegraph and Johnson, but beyond that, I've no idea.

There’s been a lot of (so far) unverified chatter about another Russian ship taking a hit. The Admiral Makarov frigate.

I’ve just noticed on the flight trackers that one of our RAF RC-135 spy planes has been loitering over the area all afternoon. It could be true!

I get that this thread is about Putin - but I'm struggling to see how posting a picture of him with no context or narrative actually moves the conversation along...

Or it could just be the RC135 flying a convenient pattern..

It looks like the Ukranian Airforce knew what they were aiming for, if this is to be believed:

The RAF and the USAF RC-135s haven’t gone near the sea there for weeks. They’ve mostly patrolled the Belarusian and Poland/Ukraine borders, or over Romania. The Global Hawk and AWACS flights have popped up and down the coast a bit (mostly the former). The RC I mentioned was definitely looking for something.

Everyone else come to the conclusion that this invasion proves one thing, the Russian military ain't all that?
Monday might be interesting*. They've got to show something to their people.

*Interesting as in hopefully not much left. I fear they will try to send a message.

Did you watch to the end? If not, you might have missed the fireworks that suggest piles of munitions in both hits went off.

    Remarkable lack of SAM defence

They destroyed the SAM site the other day, and I note that the Russian’s just tried to land more troops via helicopter, which was immediately destroyed by a UF drone.

I think a lot of people have realised that the Russian military had a rep which they have shown they don't deserve.
