From the Washington Post today:
“Ukrainian forces have more tanks on the ground than their Russian counterparts, according to a senior U.S. defense official.”
I can quite believe that.0 -
My colleague has just received a Ukrainian family, so the system is working for some.1

I met a guy last week who had taken in ukranians.0

Pretty well off guy in Cambridgeshire.
Lives in the fens so alarm bells ringing for farm workers (joke).
He does actually raise some interesting points about how hard it is to get some basic ID docs for them @Stevo_666 may be useful to you - he said that minions at local government are beyond useless. Don't get mad at them, just ask to speak to the most senior people in the department straight away as only they can do anything.0 -

Such a very short table. Probably right outside his comfort zone.2

He looks like he's at Alton Towers waiting for the ride to start1

You'd have thought if it was staged, Putin might have been coached not to look like he was on life support. Can't see him doing any more shirtless horse-riding for the press...1 -
There's definitely something not quite right with him based on that clip.briantrumpet said:Stevo_666 said:

Thanks, we're staying in touch with the local charity that's doing the intros. One good thing is that it appears by going that route you get the ful range of local authority back up, like counselling for the refugees etc.shirley_basso said:Pretty well off guy in Cambridgeshire.

That is indeed one of the other theories. But when you look at the latest clip and see how he is gripping the desk (ostensibly to stop his hand shaking), the apparently involuntary leg movements and how he seems slumped and 'braced' in that chair, you can see where the Parkinson's theorists are coming from...shirley_basso said:I thought it was cancer / steroids?
Also, apparently the side effects of some of the 'stronger' Parkinson's meds do seem to explain his behaviour (ie delusional, erratic) quite handily...
