    Took a while but, yup!
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Anyone know what causes that stripey blurring on the top image? I get it quite a lot

Do you mean the magenta and green patches in the clouds?
Looks like colour banding - possibly caused by pushing the editing a bit much, so that there is not enough dynamic range in the file for the editor to recognise the actual colours. If you are using Lightroom, you could try adjusting the colour noise reduction under the Detail tab. Highlight the section in the preview square, then adjust the slider until the green/magenta banding has gone. Stop as soon as it is gone though, or else it could affect the rest of the photo.

Just having a look back at a few photos from last year and spotted this one I took at Hailsham bonfire, the Moon poking through the flames..

Another photo from a few years ago, but this time more
    relevant to the forum.....
A hillclimb near Eastbourne (Butts Lane)
Slow sync fill flash - 35mm - 1/30 - F10 - panning on the face, which remain sharp, but everything else showing movement

Still too hectic for my liking. I was going to make a comment about the foreground, but I'll let it slide.

Yeah, needed quite a fast shutter speed for this one.

Bold as brass in the middle of the patio just now, I took this from less than a metre away and it didn't even flinch when my cockerpoo was nose to nose sniffing it. It was lucky the other hound is in day care! Eventually ran off when I went to lift it into a box with a shovel but suspect it was sick or injured.

Was showing as greyscales for me and was like it prior to any adjustements being made.

If there's an obvious joke it is almost certain I'll make it!

I got used to them at school (being the only Brian there), and it gave the jokers another one to use when my Monty Python biopic came out.

One for the Annoys You thread but felt it would get more understanding here.
    What annoys me is, me.
I like dark moody photos but no matter if I expose to get those results I still process my photos to look like how my eyes saw them. Basically, I don't like my own photos. 🤔😣
    Rhetorical, just venting.

    @southdownswolf

Butts lane for the hill climb?! F*ck me. That hill is a brute. It was less than 2 miles from where I lived.
I have fond memories of bonfire night in Lewes. perfect place for a (crit) pub crawl - start at the top and work your way downhill and end up at the kebab shop near the train station and train home tanked up on Sussex 4x.

Gwaun valley. Had to get down and dirty (and wet) for the stream shots.

Was quite happy with that for a first attempt, it was worth lugging a tripod 10 miles around Pen y Fan, Cribyn and Fan y Big (although that waterfall was 200m from my car on the way back!).

Finally got a chance to play around with long exposures and my ND filter today

Nice. A bit of constructive criticism if you don't mind.
The last waterfall one could have done with pointing the camera down enough to eliminate the sky above the trees.
Or a crop if there was something unwanted out of shot below.

You can see what I mean simply by scrolling it out of view on here.

I cropped that one slightly but kept the sky for a bit of contrast. Couldn't decide whether I preferred that one or one that was zoomed in a bit more and doesn't show the sky. Opted for this one as it has a bit more stream in the foreground.

Only fair I put something up for scrutiny. 😉 One from under the canopy.
This thread reminds me to go on a photo shoot instead of just snaps while out for a walk.

BikeRadar apologise for the lack of colour and sharpness. 😉
