Photography Thread

So. Secteur's request for camera advice - and the subsequent response - shows that we potentially have a few members here who are into photography as well as cycling.
I frequent another forum and we have a Photography Thread, where we share photos, tips, advice, critique of each other's work. It's not a photography forum, but it became apparent that a good few members were into it. Would something similar here be well-received, do we think? Shall I start the ball rolling with at least a photo of cycling?

It would be great to see other people's work as it's one of the greatest sources of inspiration.

A couple more loosely connected to cycling......
I love "Bikepacking". The grain is lovely and I really like the movement of the people, unaware that you have your camera ready!

a few of mine from the tour
Guy Andrews' Magnum compendium and Camille Macmillan's retrospective 'The Circus' would win in most years I reckon, but then Michael Blann released 'Mountains'. If you don't have a copy, buy one.
iPad mini snapshot, it's not about the camera
I have been a bit lazy with my camera of late really do need to start again

O Winston link inspired?
I love the results of shooting in b/w and at a high ISO. Inspired by Daidō Moriyama and accepting I'll never get anywhere near!

Nice shot of the Bee T47.
Some great photo's here. I'm still getting to know my new Sony acquisition. Here's one I took in the Galloway hills.
Didn't quite get the contrast that I got 2 seconds before I took the shot as the sun hit that Drumlin

Love this! Too often you see landscapes and just think 'yeah, nice view' but this gets the light perfectly, just picking out the ridge-line.
Thank you Pinno! "Fish-eye" lens. I use a Sony NEX-7 or a6000 camera body with a variety of lenses. This one is an 8mm Rokinon, surprisingly good image quality considering it's relatively inexpensive. They're fun for very close up (odd) perspectives but I like what they do on landscape shots too... Here's an example of the same scene, one taken with a standard wide angle lens (Zeiss 24mm), and the second with the fish eye..
