Oh, I forgot the maddest of them all - les Grands Goulets:

The maddest of mad roads... not my photo:

    BOTD.
Plagiarism? Probably, but it was throwing it down again.

    Nice with the rain

    ABOTD:

I have to admit that I looked like a complete weirdo when I was taking this photo, as it was perched just behind a couple of women having a picnic. Had they turned round and seen me pointing my camera roughly towards their backsides, I'd have had some explaining to do...

I do find butterflies quite challenge to get - most of them are quite skittish, or just keep fluttering, and are very sensitive if you try to approach. There's a pretty little one in France with yellow-tipped wings I'd like to get, but they never seem to stop moving.

So you were taking pictures of women's backsides and managed to get that.
What a booty... I mean beauty!

Sad to report that the butterfly was more photo-worthy.

Just a quick read up on butterflies.
A Swallowtail. The largest UK native and one of the rarest. A good find, Mr T.

Post the other pic so we can judge for ourselves.

Not uncommon in SE France though, where I took this photo (and not one of ladies' bottoms).

Off to the New Forest for a week. Taking the camera so I’ll hopefully have stuff to share!

He had been doing a bit of stalking, but I scared the sparrows away so he sauntered over to sharpen his claws.

I think it would be more accurate to call this lane a lawn with narrow strips of asphalt either side...

When the council come out to fix molehills rather than potholes, you know it's not the best road surface.

A lot of sea, but I couldn't ignore that sky.

Took some shots at sea level and was being closely watched.

It's been fascinating (aka "When are these clouds going to booger off?") watching the satellite images of the steady stream of clouds bubbling up on the western coasts and going in long lines across the country in a ENE direction. It almost looked as if Lands End was puncturing a heavenly reservoir...

They never did booger off completely, but I went out for a ride anyway. They'll probably scarper just before sunset, to leave a boring sky.

Anyway, I stared into the sun.

The clouds here always seem to magically bubble up from the Irish sea, so much so, it's officially known as `The Pembrokeshire Dangler`.
It could be worse, the Cornish phenomena is known as the Brown Willy effect.

It wasn't a great sunset tonight (no clouds), so I got side-tracked.
