Epic walk to it, or just lots of walking whilst you were there?Pross said:Was very tempted to have a paddle to relieve my sore feet.
Hot day for it, great weather though.0 -

Portmeirion is perfect for photos as the whole thing is composed like a stage set. I like a North Wales castle, too.1985 Mercian King of Mercia - work in progress (Hah! Who am I kidding?)

Nigel is back.
I thoroughly recommend watching this either to learn, or just as a refresher.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NM8Mx1OPhtMThe above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.1 -
Elan Valley was looking a bit barren today, a bit of a reminder that whilst we hadn't had a particularly warm summer until the last few weeks it has been pretty dry for a few months. Shame the weekend's blue skies had disappeared.

I hope you are ok Tashman.
Pross- good cycling country around Elan valley, Lllyn Brianne area. Can clock up 10-11,000 feet of climbing on a good day.
Pleasant evening on the beach. It was still around 20C at 10:00.

Yeah, Mid Wales is massively under-rated from a cycling point of view in general. I did the Rhayader Round The Lakes (running) race last September and that Aberystwyth mountain road is close to perfection - virtually traffic free and what traffic there is drives slowly as they're enjoy the views, beautiful scenery. The roads around Llyn Clywedog are superb too.1 -
I haven't been particularly inspired lately, but here are some phone shots. From cycling in Norfolk and then from bimbling round the City...

Not got any coastline but it was spectacular this evening in South London.

Tried chasing the supermoon but it was too cloudy so tried to salvage the trip with a few arty snaps of the transporter bridge in Newport instead

I was donating stem cells so it separated out the blood before being whizzed through a centrifuge and added beck in the other arm.Munsford0 said:.
WTAF is going on there? You being infused with Kia-Ora or having your brakes bled?Tashman said:

Did that a few years ago - it was like having knitting needles in your arm, I have no problems with needles but even I cringed when I saw them and especially after the nurse initially missed my vein and had to go again!Tashman said:

Didn't feel any different from when I donate blood. Biggest difference this time was them putting it back in again into the other armPross said:

I got bored during tonight's Messiah (the trumpets only play in three choruses in the whole thing). Who can tell me why this photo is a bit of a lie?
