Reasonably happy with how using a medieval village just as an out-of-focus backdrop to Springy stuff was handled by the auto camera.

And back to the macro theme, here's a butterfly, with colouring I've never seen. (PS, it's not a pet.)

Oh dam.

One for Ben. Maybe better?

This, au contraire, relies on its colour, I think. Il pleut comme vache qui pisse aujourd'hui:

I beat you to it.
I don't mind any hints, tips, criticisms, in fact I welcome them. Thanks for levelling the water.0 -
Haha. Maybe not great minds, but still. Can't get water and top of dam both absolutely level, and I couldn't be bothered to do a perspective 'correction'. Took out a bit of water as it seemed to be dead area with little interest, then just thought to try to get equal amounts of sky & water to increase symmetry. Just playin'. Thanks for not minding. Once set my brother off on one for doing similar.masjer said:I beat you to it.

I agree your crop is better. I put the effort in and levelled the water but, as you say, the dam is out.0

Annoyingly the perspective corrections in my phone app are much better than the plug-in for Irfanview. The downside is that they are so good that it's all too tempting to use them too often.0 -
Sorry, a sunset again, but I'm pleased with it.

No need to apologise. A corker, with the colours nicely reflected.0 -
Cheers! I got a couple of others too.0

Nice!
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.1 -
Not mine, I stole it from Facebook. New boardwalk opened in Brighton today and got a nice shot to celebrate0 -
Apologies for the selfie, but I was quite pleased with how this one worked out... kinda says what I wanted it to about a grey ride on empty roads. Done on self-timer, obviously, so guessing angles and timing is a bit hit & miss for getting a satisfactory composition.

Wow, nice. So how many takes?
At least it looks like that cow has stopped p1ssing now.0 -
Second take. First one I went a bit wobbly, as I was riding too slowly, knowing I'd gone too early. Yes, should be a bit more blue in the photos now, though this time of year here is always a bit of a lottery.masjer said:Wow, nice. So how many takes?

And for those of you who remember The Magic Roundabout, no, this isn't a selfie.

It only turned out that way because the snail didn't stay still in the pose I wanted, so I had to move quickly to get an alternative shot. Happily, this one was better than the original angle. Definitely one I'd call 'lucky'.2 -
Damned tricky keeping up with those snails. 🤣
Nice shot though! The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

No, it's just not washed behind its ears. It's a tiny snail, btw.0 -
Even better that the crock of gold should be right in my garden...
