Clear day, blue sky, fluffy clouds, click done. Then clicked far too many times.

A retro vibe.

Is the first one supposed to be Rebecca Adlington?

Could be, but depends what the horizon clouds get up to... blocking, or aiding...

Oops, my horizon looks a bit wonky, but I think it looks worse because of the land on the right.0

Yep, I'm sure it will be coincidence if I visit when track racing is on! She's had an offer from a place that is based in the old Olympic media centre. Barring an offer from her first choice that is still outstanding but unlikely that's where she'll be going.Ben6899 said:Pross said:Looks like my daughter is going to be based there for Uni next year.

We've got a family link as my sister taught at the new academy school that got set up there too when it first opened.0 -

I'm just on cheesy postcard photography today... though another decent sunset also looking possible.

Did I hear someone say sunset? I might see if I can summon the energy.

I was thwarted... no clouds above, and a think bank at the horizon.0 -
A big fat fail here too.0

Something for a change from gothic and sunsets.
My grand daughter's birthday. Not pure photography, but pure joy.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.6 -
Haha, this was a random one... wasn't sure what the autofocus would choose, but was hoping it would find the boat. Kinda works anyway.

That's a nice and colourful frame. If you had some secateurs, removing that bottom twig would have made it even nicer.
You've better weather than me today, cold, wet, urgh.0 -
I've been looking at cameras on Ebay. I came across a Samsung NX1000. It's only £80 at the mo. 2013 possibly a bit dated, but 20MP compact (easy to take out and about) and very cheap. What do you think?

Being arrested for trespassing and criminal damage might have taken the pleasure of having got the photo I was imagining...

The Samsung range of cameras had a decent reputation back then. Only catch might be finding other lenses if you want different lengths - I think it's a proprietary mount, and adaptors needed?masjer said:I've been looking at cameras on Ebay.
