What I’ve learned today. Taking a camera from an air conditioned room out to 30C fogs it up for ages. 😡 Sunrise photos gone.

That'll teach you for going to such an exotic destination.

Wait till you see some photos. I am in real Fiji, not some manufactured resort. It is not what you imagine.
Google images for Levuka if curious.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Possibly one more for the Cheers You Up thread but probably more relatable here.
Going through slides from 60 years ago and the ones that are Kodachrome are instantly recognisable.
A lesson repeated that quality is cheaper in the long run.
Oh, and the slides are lush. I’d forgotten the vibrance of slides.

  • Since we're off cycling (of which I've no photography experience) I'll chuck a few of my landscape efforts into the mix:

I still remember the vibrancy of the blues in my dad's holiday photos from Westward Ho! in 1969... and I can also remember the endless faffing around to get the projector out and feeding the photos into it.

Just trying different angles on camelias...

A bit too much tarmac on the second, but still quite like the vibrancy of the pink against the white/black houses.

I can’t remember taking any scenery for a while. This incessant rain and wind isn’t helping.

Good use of the rain. Better than spraying the bike with mud off Devon lanes.

Thanks. Just snapped on the dash to the station and then straightened up.

That's either a harsh criticism or a technical glitch.

Now that's weird... I've just changed to my phone, and I can see as little as Pross, even masjer's retweet, which I could see on the laptop, has disappeared.

    It’s odd, I can see mrb’s pictures. I assume it’s a direct upload v image link thing
