There has to be at least one annoying glitch. They fixed the drafts autosave big so something else has to break.

TBH, I only use the 'upload photo' option if I'm feeling thoroughly lazy, or the photo isn't worth viewing at a decent resolution.

    Let's see if this works.

    Ugh. No.

I can't access the true URL of individual photos stored on Google Photos via the android app and BR doesn't recognise the links the app generates.

Thanks. How did you get the longer URL?

Ah, I know that works on a desktop but I just get the short link from the android app.

Brilliant, thanks TBB. Bit of a faff but better than the thumbnail sized images.

Other top tip is when using the Image IRL drop down it likes the link to end in specific format types eg .jpg. if it doesn't find this then it doesn't work. Therefore paste in the google link and add .jpg. You can then delete it when it has given you the html formatting.

It isn’t easy posting stuff using phones, is it?
    Oh well, later….
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

    That's why I don't.
I use Google back up which means the pics go straight to my mail box and then I download from there.
However, my phone is so beaten up (I need to replace my screen* for the 3rd time), it doesn't take good pics so I rarely bother.

*Learnt to do it myself. The phone refuses to die and therefore is one of those things that I will endevour to keep.

    Did you use a spudger?

    Did you use a spudger?

Yes but it's a bit more complex than that.
There's 16 very small Phillips screws, 3 push fit electrical foil connections and sealant to remove then install.
1st time round was removing the serial number label off the back and from underneath where the battery sits. It was so sticky, I thought I might wreck the phone just taking the label off. Now replaced (twice) with gaffer tape put on neatly before you ask  Removing the broken screen from the original sealant isn't fun and replacing the sealant is a mare; you have to be so careful not to squidge it around when re-installing the screen whilst making sure the foil connectors are in situ. [bored yet?].

Oh and my garden is full of ladybirds.

I just used it as a golden opportunity to use the word spudger, but good work nevertheless. ifixit?
I thought it was an eu directive to make smartphones consumer fixable.

All insect life seems to be in decline around these parts, and I don't even swallow many flies now.

Yeah, okay. The link worked but I know how instant gratification works these days so wanted to spare people a click.

A case study in Cambridgeshire run by a Cambr... [you can work it out] involved driving a van along a dual carriageway repeatedly for x miles and x mins at x speed over the past 20 odd years and the number of insect splats has declined by 70%.

You won't wear you spudger out removing them so quickly.

Anemones (I think). Tried a shot with the light reflecting off the leaves (shrub) behind the flowers.

    It worked... nice one.

Thanks Brian. One small admission, the flowers were in a pot, which was handy!

What I’ve learned today. Taking a camera from an air conditioned room out to 30C fogs it up for ages. 😡 Sunrise photos gone.
