Guesswork time!
Assuming it's a man, I can only think of one rider that fits. And it would be pretty gutting.0 -
If it's G I'm quitting cycling!0

Probably best not to mention any names.0

Mail story doesn't specify sex or the event they were world champ at. It could also be utter cobblers story.
I take that back - the Mail says its a bloke...down at the bottom when it's talking about contacting his father for comment.0 -

British Cycling confirms one of its riders accused of "a potential anti-doping rule violation". Doesn't name cyclist. More soon.0 -

Failed test at Paris-Nice apparently0

And not-Sky. Assuming all the other things are true that narrows it to a field of 1. And gutting if true.0

McLay isn't a former world track champ though (unless we're counting juniors). Cummings was the other option, but he didn't ride in France at all this year.0

That's gutting if true, but at least it wasn't Cummings or Thomas (man-love for both of them)Fat chopper. Some racing. Some testing. Some crashing.

The shit has really hit the fan over the last few days!
Disappointed if it's accurate.
Story will be about British Cycling and bringing Team Sky into it, but questions have to be asked about OGE - they are starting to get a bit of a whiff about them over the last couple of years.0 -

Adam was the one who seemed to make a huge jump from nowhere at l'Avenir that year. Unfairly it's going to be even harder to lose that impression now. This sucks in many ways.0
