Funny you mention that as we did as well. The must have been in the garden last night as the hound was out sniffing around and 'on the look out' for ages when we let him out for his morning dump.

Another day of tax avoidance beckons, with a bit of arris kicking chucked in. Out tonight for an earlier in the week than usual beer then its back to bike related weight loss attempts later this week.

    Afternoon,

First day back at work after the Christmas break, which for me started on the 19th Oct. I don't know what I'm doing and only hope the minion has enough experience to be self sufficient.

Who is it I'm 'borrowing'? The dog or stropteen? What condition do they need returning in? Maddie could do with a friend.
I'd rather you borrowed the teenager, the dog doesn't whine nearly as much and is way cheaper :) 'Alive' is the main stipulation for return condistion as Strifey might get angry otherwise.
Hmm I'm tending towards the dog here. There sounds to be too many conditions with the teenager!

    Wednesday

    Mehning Losers!

The cold is descending into death I think. I don't feel as 'bunged up' today, however my voice is vanishing fast. This isn't good.

I have an important meeting in Bury tonight, so the plan after work is to get over there asap so that I'm not late for it.

    Morning,
I got some sleep last night so I feel a bit more human today. Back at work and I still have no idea what I'm doing. Only covering today so the usual bloke can pick everything up tomorrow and I'll just hide from people.

    Afternoon 'loids,
Another day of mediocrity here will be brightened by going to the pub later. Out of the office for the next couple of days as I'm on a 1st aid refresher, hopefully there will be some distractions there to practise CPR on. Also means a late start, shorter day and it's closer to home. Pub tonight because it's Wednesday and it's the law.

    Evening Rubberneckers,

Last night's sampling of honey flavoured JD followed by a kebab left me feeling a bit dehydrated this morning. I made up for it by scrounging free brekky and lunch at two meetings I went to. Unfortunately I had to work this afternoon. Now feeling a bit knackered!

    Morning Losers!

Well last nights meeting proved to be a lot less important than it could have been. Interesting though I suppose.

Today, I'm listening to the wind and rain and wondering if the free parking from the motorbike is really worth it.

Hmmm I'll contemplate the issue whilst eating honey nut loops and drinking tea.

Last nights bike ride was too busy with 50 people trying to cycle together! So my mate and I split off after 5 miles and headed towards the pub, where we stayed too long :)

Today is working from home preparing for a tomorrow's meetings. Later is chilled

  • Snowy Friday

    Morning Losers!

It snowed here last night, but not much, only half a centimetre or so, however I'm sure it's enough that everyone here will loses their minds! I'm contemplating riding the motorbike in, as the main roads are cleared, it's just a bit perilous getting to the main road. Plus, the wind has returned...

After work I'm escaping home asap so that I can get over to Bury for the weekend.

    Morning lords of the ghey!

Bit like me here this morning, fresh and bright!

Loads of trees trimmed yesterday which means i have a huge pile of cuttings to dispose of. Going to employ a friends nipper for a day as i cannot be arrissed sorting that lot!

    More diy based danger today.

Fresh and bright bg? At least you're 50% there. Good luck with your piles.
Had a narrow escape this morning as I'd agreed to ride a bicycle with a lunatic, thankfully he couldn't make it so that saved me having to get my book of excuses out. So a lazy start has been had. Now for a big decision, more tea or move on to coffee?

    Evenin Twunts,

Busy day of jobs - nearly lost a few fingers sorting out the pond pump and filter it was that ferkin cold. Now draining a bottle of plonk after stuffing myself silly on Thai takeaway. MOTD later where I'll be watching the mighty Chelski :)

    Morning peeeeeeegs!

Just catching up on the p00fball then it's onwards to more tree lopping, the main trees on site apparently require a professional as waving a chainsaw twenty meters in the air does not fill Mrs13 with confidence, think i agree!

What's the worst that can happen? :)

Have done the minimum jobs required for a quiet life and am now chilling while Stropteen rides horses. May have to watch MOTD tonight and see the Manc v Scouser matches.

    Afternoon sockcuckers
Been trying to behave today. Sorted a couple of things round the house and took the Mrs to the shops to look at coffee tables. Ordered one that she wants, thankfully not too expensive. Said if I didn't spend the money on her I'd just buy new wheels I don't really need for the Cotic. She told me to buy the wheels anyway and use money from the joint aaccount. Managed to ride a bicycle last night, saw a couple of blojes walking a trail dragging car tyres behind them, nutters. Might drink beer tonight to prepare myself for tomorrow.

  • Monday - I'm not a fan

    Morning Losers!

It's not been a bad weekend really. Bury won 5-1, I read quite a bit, met up with my dog-walking friend a few times, and just generally had a good one.

Today won't be like that. Today I have loads to do at work, retard-minion for company and just general 'meh' filled hatred for the world. Also tonight I have to get moving and run over to Bury for a meeting I'm holding. Great.
