Happy New Year Mongs
I must be a rain God as I drove 270 miles from up North and it rained all the bloody way. Let's hope that 2017 is a bit better than 2016. That includes getting a celebrity dead pool pick right for once in my life."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -

Last day of the holidays
Think my liver is looking forward to a holiday, yesterdays nip to the pub, was erm excessive followed by an impromptu party at ours
Today is more chilled with a real walk or something0 -
Moaning children,
Still snotted up to the max here so other than a trip out to get pig food it's going to be a lazy day, until the bottom feeder decides otherwise.
A total of two eggs from our chickens now, small return for our investment but they continually get reminded of their responsibilities and the consequences should they fail to deliver!

Afternoon all,
Avoiding reaility is the main order of the day. I seem to have entered a bicycle race in a couple of months, I should probably start riding more to try and get fit. Where can I buy an electric motor?0 -

Afternoon GImps,
Have done a few jobs but not as many as requested. May try to get my tax return done this afternoon as I'm due a decent refund from Her Majestys Legalised Banditos. Oh, and the motor needs to be concealed as they are not allowed.0 -

Morning Losers!
Well it's been a strange week or so. We bought a cat for my ladies Mum, and a few days afterwards she decided she couldn't cope with another animal. So, now I currently have a kitten trying to dig into the sofa or walk across my keyboard.
Does anybody want a cat?
I'm back at work today. Meh

Meh, not looking forward to work, but then you always have to pay for the fun
No I don't want a cat0 -
No ta Tkm, looks like you'll turn into one of those sad, lonely, crazy cat people now.
Moaning workers,
Loads to do but there is a slight breeze and grey clouds so don't want to risk my dodgy commute of twenty five metres to where I've been working on the renovation house, I'll clean out the wood burner, get it lit, stick some shyte on telly and get a nice hot chocolate met rhum!

My decision to bail out of riding in today was vindicated when I nearly ended up on my arris walking out of the drive this morning. Hopefully forecast will hold so I can shift the lard tomorrow. Thankfully uneventful first day in the office - so far (famous last words)."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -

Not riding was a good idea Stevo, definitely a tad parky. Unfortunately I have to drive tomorrow as I'm taking the girl to physio. As my ride is much shorter than yours I can get away with taking the Cotic and going a bit slower. Took the off road path to avoid the sheet ice on the tarmac path. Frost on hardpack is grippier than icy tarmac.
Work has been rather busier than is ideal, it's going to be a hard week.0 -
Wednesday
Morning Losers!
The Cat has now been sold and gone. Thank the lord! I probably could have got an extra £20 for her and the stuff, but I'm just glad she's gone! She was a ballsy little bugger though, I think she'd have been happy for stevo's dog to try!
Today, more of the same stuff really. It was a decent quiet day yesterday, well, apart from the horrendous commute in after some damn drug dealing bloke got shot by the police. Grrr
After work, I'm heading over to Bury for a meeting. That will be fun.

Morning all, Happy new year and all that.
I've got man flu so this year hasn't started off so great. i'm in Bristol at the minute, but i'll soon be off home to bed.
Laters0 -
working from home today, as I've got a shoot load to do before tomorrow. Which means I won't have time for any exercise0

Goeie môre
Been a while since I checked in here. Made my 2016 12000 mile target with a chewy century in very strong winds on the 31st December - talk about leaving things to the last minute. After 1468 miles in December, I'm enjoying not needing to get up at 05:30 at the moment.
I haven't cut back on eating, however. and these trousers are weirdly very tight.

You might have to explain what cycling is to the other contributors to this forum, blimmin well done though, was it all on a road bike?
Morning girls, animals sorted early, another egg collected from the hens, their stay of execution continues! Was a touch cold and frosty this morning so i went straight back to bed for a lie in.
Just up now so off to the shops for some provisions!

How goes Kev? Do you still ride these bike things we keep hearing about in the Crudcatcher?
My day's been made better by pedalling into work and not having to contend with ice, then finishing my tax return and seeing how much Her Majesty's Legalised Highwaymen owe me 8)"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
Thursday
Morning Losers!
Meh. I seem to have caught man flu/the plague. I might use it as an excuse to get off work early, as I cba with it today.
I've organised a nice weekend away with my dog-walking friend for February, that's something to look forward to, before that we've decided to have a monthly steak night. Honestly, I think I've found the one, lads!
I need to dust the bike out when I'm feeling better. Things are a'happening...

On train in for a thankfully near meeting free day as the big bosses are only just returning from hols. Ski holiday now sorted as well so life is looking up"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
Afternoon all,
Bit of a late start as I had to take the girl to school before coming in, dumped the car and managed to wobble in through the cold. Lovely and sunny at least. Fairly hectic day with too many things going wrong. Not actually murderised anyone yet, but it's only a matter of time.
onwards and upwards...0
