The lass has been at work all day, so i've been around her house, got up late, won £30 on the footy, watched TV then felt lazy so went for a 15K road ride, then to re-address the balance she's bringing back Pizza Hut takeout back after work.....all in all, very productive day!

    Sounds a reasonable day!

Picking up dog poo in the freezing cold in my dressing gown was my job this morning.

Done loads (of jobs) this weekend so feeling quite pleased with myself. Even managed to bag a new ski jacket for next months trip, Unfortunately Strifey found out how much it cost...

  • Back to Work Monday - Meh

    Morning Losers!

I really cba with work. After being 'sick' on Friday, everyone will make it their business to found out what's wrong with me, and I'm quite tempted to just tell the truth

The weekend got a bit rubbish after Friday, well, it was all good, but the old man went into hospital with suspected pneumonia, well the onset of it, apparently his oxygen levels were 55 (they're usually around 100 for healthy people). Ah well. Today's another day, and each one's another step closer to inheritance.

    Morning,
Finally got back on my bike and rode to work this morning. Fark it's cold out there. Plus I'm really unfit at the moment but got to start somewhere. Could've done with remembering my shoes though.
Today I'll mostly be micro napping.

    Good day worms,

Bad start today got an early call telling me my cousin died suddenly, not been a great day after that. Did buy another sds drill as my last one gave up the ghost. So I've managed to get shot of a load of cement so i can dig a hole for a sewarage pipe. That's how you have fun!

    Toodles.

Sorry to hear that bg. Your cousin wasn't your age and used to be on telly in a programme about the French resistance was he?
Busy day at work bookended by fookin' cold rides. Had to get back sharpish as had an appointment at the quack's for the girl at 5. Nothing new, but no worse at least. Think she's just got a stomach bug.

Yep, it was a bit nippy this morning. I still have all my fingers though. More tricky was the icy/slushy crap along the edges of the road which made for the odd dicey moment before getting into subtropical London.

Busy day dealing with people from head office aka the Kingdom of Far Far Away. But quite easy as they know sod all about my specialist subject. Now chilling after scoffing a curry while my legs stop aching.

    Morning Losers!

Faaaaark it's cold! Riding in on the motorbike is hell at the moment, but I refuse to pay to park!

I'm busier at work with things that are nothing to do with work at the moment than what I should be doing. I'm wondering how long I can keep this up for without someone realising.

I still need to do my tax returns. Damn.

    Who you gonna call? :)

Stuck on the train from hell as its packed and I'm standing. Twats. May have to take it out on the minions when I get to work, which hopefully will be marginally less busy than yesterday.

Not as cold as yesterday, then I got to the park and hit the freezing fog. I thought my face was going to fall off. Should be a fairly dull day in the office today, but customers may well screw that up for me. Pub later.

You MUST go to the doctor or A&E and tell him/her that you had anticipated your face falling off and DONT be fobbed off with antibiotics and DEMAND a face MRI and a vaccination to prevent recurrence and openly RECORD the consultation and TELL them that you will be REPORTING to the GMC. I ALWAYS do that if my face is about to fall off.

    Morning Losers!

I had a nice evening last night, but far far too late to bed. I'm knackered now and I think my cold is coming back, which is rubbish.
Today I need to do loads of stuff that's nothing to do with work. I like getting paid to do other stuff.

Tonight, I have Toad in the Hole! :D

    Euphemism right?

    Morning ladies,

Drove in again. Much easier than riding but doesn't help me get fit. Managed to get back to sleep this morning after my usual 4:30 wakening, stayed in bed until about 6:50 and feel much better for it. Can't see this happy feeling lasting past 10 though.
Today is work meh, work meh there. Might have to get chips on my way to there.

Meeting at the girl's school this morning, all went well thankfully. Followed by a busy afternoon at work. Pub is now calling.

Lots on at works but managed to get home in decent time to pack my bike gear for tomorrows jaunt down the M4 to wales. Got the uplift booked for some gravity fun at BPW on Friday, hopefully we won't die of hypothermia but I've packed my old ski jacket just in case :)

    Morning Losers!

Today is of little significance to me really, as tonight is STEAK NIIIIGGGHHHTTT! Me and my dog-walking friend are off to a restaurant we went to on New Year's Eve where we were given a red envelope and told to bring it back where they would open it upon paying the bill. Inside is either 25%, 50% or 100% off the food bill, with the guarantee of it being 25%. Well, we did some maths, and basically we're ordering 2 of their best steaks, and it makes it really well priced.

    STEAK!

    Morning twunts,

More hole and channel digging for pipework for this lucky lad today, no steak to look forward to either.

Did you have to get to 88mph?
    Morning all,
Mild Thursday morning hangover is present and correct. Good night in the pub was had, a customer of mine had called and stuck some money behind the bar in my name. Mild interest going home from the pub as they had closed my mates road due to a strange smell coming from the sewer. Isn't there always a strange smell coming from sewers? Hoping for an easy day in the office today, fingers crossed.

Michael J Fox had a better car than TLW.

Headed west for sheepsville shortly and gravity based fun tomorrow (as long as it isn't so misty we can't see). Next stop = a pub in the Valleys.

  • Finally Friday!

    Morning Losers!

I got home late last night, but slept like a log in a steak-induced coma! I demolished a 10oz Ribeye steak, with tomatoes, mushroom, onion rings, chips, salad and a peppercorn sauce. It was amazing.

Today, I have to get through to 4pm in the knowledge I have no more steak. This is sad.

What discount did you get out the envelope?

    Morning,

Rode to work again. Didn't hurt as much as it did on Monday but it was damn cold. Might have two dinners today, tink I've earned them.

    Evening Gimps,

Good if very muddy day at Bike Park Wales. No big crashes and plenty black runs done - not even that cold!. Bit knackered now but never sleep well after DH days - adrenaline overload?

    Saturday

    Yeah

Big night in the local last night after the current wife got canned from work - which seems to be a weight off her mind

Today is ferrying the kids around and then to some friends for dinner - it will be messy
