    Boxing day

yeah, survived yesterday without telling my brother / sister in law what c0cks they are. Was a good day, but any day that has you thinking bugger I'm hissed before 12:30 is good in my books

Today is a slowish start with a run arranged for circa 9 and then family time until after lunch when we meet go to her uncles for a BBQ for about 40 of us. Staying over, so ale will be enjoyed

Luckily I paced myself yesterday so am feeling quite perky after a decent lie in. Done a couple of jobs but this afternoon is a cemetary visit - the joys.

    Afternoon monks,
Been relatively lazy today, about to go for a stroll with some of the family. Set up new CD player streaming thingy. Seems to work so that's good. Somehow pulled a muscle in my back mid coughing fit, I think booze will help to relax it.

    tuesday

Still at the wife's uncles with complete house envy

When the wife surfaces we will probably go for a swim with the other rugrats here and then head back and have a chilled day

I imagine the pub will be visited later

Good lie in, full English lunch and a walk in the countrysoide with the hound. Followed by a run to burn the lard. Now trying to cook a Thai curry and cider is chilling in the fridge :)

    Evening all,

Made 10kgs of sausages today and a rather large pork pie most of which will be devoured tomorrow as a few chums are popping round.
Two toddlers that are over with the brother in law and family are really testing, seen and not heard would be amazing.

    Monging tards,

Lovely morning here in Frenchland, animals were happy, relatives are still here and one of the toddlers is seriously grinding my gears! I've offered tie wraps to keep him still but apparently that's not allowed!

In other news we have people round later for foods and boozes.

A nice lie in back in da Hudd. I'm not really sure of the plans for today, however it really should involve some biking. Something a bit healthier to eat too as I've put quite a bit of weight back on, which is expected, but not good.

    Monging all,
Laziness has been featuring heavily and will continue to do so. Man flu is receding so might manage more than a walk today. Pub later.

Or even better, feed the little fecker to your pigs Hannibal Lecter stylee. Problem solved and money saved. I'm sure it's completely legal in France.

It was cold this morning according to the Eastern European blokes who washed my car as I sat in it with the heater blowing on max :) We're off to the brother in-laws over in Windsor later so lots of free food and his hot daughters will be there. On the downside we've got to brave the M25 and I'm on driving detail today so no booze...

Not sure the pigs would want to go near the farker either.

    Morning trumpers,

Foods and boozes were had yesterday so not feeling very good this morning also got a touch of manthrax that our lovely visitors have bought with them so feel today could be written off!

Well the bicycling didn't happen yesterday, and it won't be happening today either. Neither did the healthy eating (Well, pie, homemade chips and beans isn't that unhealthy is it!?)

So today I'm picking up my dog-walking friend, sanza dog, getting some grub to eat (I'm thinking steak and chips with a mushroom sauce tonight!) and then heading home for an afternoon/night in. I'd better tighten the bolts on the bed...

Nice 8 mile run to pick up the car and meet up with some of the lads for a cuppa

Just been for a walk with the wife then it's off to pick up the father in law to bring him back for dinner

As soon as we get rid off him a visit to the local will be needed

    friday

Yeah it's the weekend, not that it makes much difference as I'm on holiday

Today wasn't enough sleep but the bright side I've got control of the tv. Next up is tidy up ahead of tomorrow nights party as I'm out most of tomorrow with a pal going up snowdon - so I need to accumulate brownie points

Might sneak a little run in with the wife at some point

Later is out in town with the family followed by supporting the local pub

    Happy fryday one and all,

Big news from France, WE GOT AN EGG off one of the chickens yesterday, much joy in the 13 household. There were another couple this morning but they didn't survive the drop from the perch where they roost.

In other news the manthrax our visitors have dropped on us is really taking a grip, but they leave this evening so that'll be a pick up to be sure.

Onwards to hot toddies (with a ton of booze) and loafing.

I rode me bike today, which was nice. It was muddy and cold as GT's mum's heart.
I also saw a video which changed my views on lycra:

    afternoon all,
Day of pottering and minimal activity has been had. Replaced a few light fittings to make myself feel useful then sat down to drink more tea. Cold and foggy out today.

    :)

    Evening Mongs,

I'm up in the frozen North. Good lie in, got loads of supplies for the parentals and had a long meeting with social services. Decided a good run along the beach at sunset was needed after that. Now deciding on dinner and grog for the evening :)

Morning climbers of tall erect things!

Had no illnesses for well over a year and two snotty horrible rugrats pitch up with the family and it's snot-a-geddon, can't even sleep. Think tonight will be an early night.

Just settling in front of SKY Sports to follow the footy. Done all the jobs I need to do for the day so its all dossing from here on in :) Not going out in true bah humbug fashion, don't like pubs on NYE.

    Me critical analysis of 2016:

A year spent mostly trying to find the clean end of a turd.
A year spent doing cock all except designing an active engine mount for a German car not built by VW, Audi or BMW. Non stop working designing a product for a customer who has no idea about the basics of engineering.
2016 can kiss my hairy poop chute.

    Hny larda4rses,

Still stuffed up with manthrax, feeling proper shyte, was in bed for nine last night.

At least the year can only get better, this will start with some beans on toast. Then onwards to completing the box sets of breaking bad and the bridge.

    Afternoon wrong'uns,
Happy new year and all that bollox, most important job of the day is done and death pool choices made. Was tempted to change but starting the year as I mean to carry on and went with the lazy option.
Off to the folks shortly then over the road for drinks. Anyone giving up booze in January is insane, worst month of the year to give up. Along with any other month.
