    TKM I'm buying a hat!

Been to Poitiers today looking at toilets and other bathroom gear for the project, my limited attention span meant i spent most of the visit looking at diy power tools, gives the mrs something to talk to me about about!

What type? A big cowboy one, or a bowler hat to remind the locals of who's in charge?

    Morning Losers!

Today is a 'staff training day', and means the morning is held up with 3 hours of them telling us how the company is doing :|

The afternoon is 'breakout sessions' so we're having a quick meeting, then cracking on with some work we need to do for Monday. Then I'm escaping to Bury where I have very little time to set up some mics and stuff for a recording job I've got me.

All this with a cold. It's too much.

    Laters!

All good ideas but i think a feathery fascinator would suit me to the ground! Will all the cats be bridesmaids and page boys?

    Morning bell whackers,

Back on the graft day as the manthrax has subsided enough to allow me to escape the clutches of this lovely warm quilr!

    Afternoon hatstands,
Bit chilly in the smoke again today. Quite glad to be driving in, have to take the girl to another appointment later so bunking off early. Out for a meal for my sister's 50th later, should be a bit of fun. Unfortunately it means I don't get to sneak out for a pint with the Mrs on the way home. Not too busy in the office, I even started tidying up my emails, down from over 300 unread emails to only 200ish.

    Evening Twunts,

Submitted my tax return today which means that the darlings at the Inland Revenue will be paying for our holidays this year :D Then get home to find out that Stropteen has got a boyfriend - so must hurry up and buy a hockey mask and meat cleaver for when I answer the door to the spotty yoof.

Well that was interesting, nobody punched the brother in law. Although my old man did look like he wanted to.

    Morning fudge packers,

Nice but cold in the Vienne, animals sorted though had to break the ice on their water! Brrrr!

Just sorting out firewood for the next week for the next guests in our humble Gite and getting some firewood for us as the bottom feeder seems to be feeling the cold after years of hot flushes, can't she make her mind up!

    Anyhoo, toodles.

I woke up at 6.30 when Strifey let the hound out for a dump but went straight back to sleep again. I need my beauty sleep :)

Done a fair few jobs, got some new wiper blades for the car, got hair lopped off and now having a bit of a laze around before going round to my cousin's party in Streatham. Unfortunately I'm driving :(

    Evenin' all,
Lazy morning was followed by moving a load of stuff in the loft so I could get to a light fitting then getting rid of some of it before stashing all the Christmas decorations back up there. As usual that did for my back so a bit of lounging this afternoon before more pottering. Now avoiding the TV as wife and girl are watching the Voice. Eurgh...

    Sunday

    Morning

Good sleep after decent night on the cider with friends last night

Today is a slow start, then a run and lots of jobs, mostly wood cutting and I assume we will nip to the pub later

    Morning girls,

Busy-ish day yesterday rounded off with a glass of wine, first real booze since Christmas due to manflu. More menial tasks today.

I know what you mean. No sooner than one load of dross like 'Strictly' finishes then the next one pops up. Managed to dodge it by going out but when I came back there was a commentary as one contestant was apparently from Redcar and his family were all burger munching fatties. What a surprise...

Cousins party last night wasnt bad but was driving so couldn't drink. Ended up giving one of her mates a lift home last night who I think quite liked me - unfortunately no spring chicken. Now booked a half term holiday to Rome with Strifey and Stropteen - they wanted to go for some reason. Better be interesting. A day of odds n sods awaits.

    Afternoon all,
Slow start was followed by odd jobs. Food was followed by more odd jobs. Feel the day has been productive for once. Now lounging for all I'm worth.
Don't know Rome at all well Stevo, should be enough to keep you occupied. are you staying somewhere central?

Probably - sorted the flights and looking at hotel options. So far they're close to the touristy stuff like the Colosseum and the Vatican. If anyone has any top tips that'll be handy as I'm going off stuff like tripadvisor.

Back to Work Monday - Meh
    Morning Losers!

I've had a busy weekend running round doing chores that I'd rather not be doing, I feel like I've not rested. My cold hasn't shifted but seems to have settled on a perpetual 'feel-like-crap' stage, and I have to drive in today to take a lot of equipment back to work.

    Basically, roll on 4pm.

I do believe they have a dog.

    Afternoon all,
The planned walk to Sainsbury's to buy lunch has been delayed by water falling from the sky, I might have to go to Greggs. The horror of it all.

I've not had chance to meet him yet let alone dismember him and bury the remains under out patio. Seems to be quite new and she's keeping him well away from us because we're dead embarrassing apparently. If I can find him online a might send him a link to what happens to people caught doing 'underage'

Who is it I'm 'borrowing'? The dog or stropteen? What condition do they need returning in? Maddie could do with a friend...

    Morning Losers!

I'm sniffly, and in a very MEH mood. Work is stressful, but at least yesterday flew past.

After work, I'm going over to my dog-walking friend's house, to not walk a dog. Well, we might.

    Morning 'tards,
Also feeling significantly meh this not so fine day. Woken by foxes a few times in the night so didn't sleep at all well, then was sound when the alarm went off. Had to drive in this morning as I've got to pick the Mrs up and go to the daughter's parents evening this afternoon. Deep joy. No dog walking for me today, horizontal or otherwise.

I'd rather you borrowed the teenager, the dog doesn't whine nearly as much and is way cheaper :) 'Alive' is the main stipulation for return condistion as Strifey might get angry otherwise.
