Early start with meetings. Later is big beer as we go out for friends celebration of many years married for which they've hired a band for the local :)
  • Morning Losers!

Finished my Christmas shopping yesterday, well, except one specific card, which if I can't find, I'm not that bothered. Just need to wrap it all now!

Tonight I have far too much to do. I need to wash pots, myself and the house, wrap presents, write cards, bake shortbread, bake gingerbread and play some PlayStation! Basically, work is getting in the way of my Christmas, damnit!

    Morning festive worriers and drunks,

Nice fresh morning here, animals fed and I'm back in bed, only for a quick hour you understand. Then it's a variety of menial tasks including curing some more ham.

    Evening all,
Winter solstice done, roll on spring. Work this morning then slacked off to finish Christmas shopping but got distracted by a pub, twice. Need to have some scoff then go to another pub, it is Wednesday.

Yay, the days get longer from here. Long day including taking the minions out for lunch and pedalling home to burn off the fish n chips. Then sorting out a decent base for the Christmas tree as someone forgot to buy one

    More liver torture tomorrow.

    Thursday
    Morning Losers!

The end of the week is nigh! Tomorrow cannot come soon enough.

Today I'll be running round trying to do the things I've been putting off doing all week. Then when I get home, I'm heading straight over to Bury for the local Police Carol Concert, which is always a fun shindig (and the trombonist near me usually passes round some mulled wine during a reading!)

Oddly the big light in the living room popped last night, but changing the bulb doesn't seem to fix it...

    Yeah Friday eve

I'm off today but shoot sleep means I've been for a while and been working

Today is a full day of lumber jack lessons - I think I'm going to be knackered later

    Morning all,
mild Thursday hangover is present as expected. This resulted in a slow ride through thick fog this morning, last full day in the office as only a half day tomorrow then off until the new year. Not too much going on, mainly eating cake and chocolate before going to the cafe for Fryday on a Thursday. Not much else going on today, might wrap some presents for people tonight. Other than that a day for mediocrity.

    Good day cruddy weirdos!

How the fark are one and all, imagine Tlw1 will have limbs and digits missing.

House clean prior to the arrival of family, though their trip is still in the balance due to a passport faff!

Been watching the first three series of Breaking Bad these last few days, it's pretty good innit, ordered the remaining parts of Amazon so hope their drone gets it's fingers out.

Maybe that's why they get paid less? :P

    Morning gits,

Hauled myself in through the fog for one last round of liver bashing this evening. Thankfully work is pretty quiet today, bout time too. I've decided I'll work from home tomorrow as none of the minions are in and it's less fun when you can't boss people about !

  • Friday - The Eve of Christmas Eve

    Morning Losers!

Last day of work until January 3rd! Woooooo

Today, I have to venture into Leeds for the last Christmas present. I'm gutted I forgot to buy it the other day! I think I'll go in at 9am to avoid as many people as possible!

We usually finish work around 1-2pm, whenever we can be bothered staying to basically. I'll leave around 12/12:30 I think. Then I just need to prepare myself for a stupidly busy weekend.

Last day in the office for me as well, already had to deal with a few customers. I was expecting peace and quiet. Off to the pub at 1 and that's me done for the year. Unfortunately can't really drink as I have to do an airport run later.

Yeeharr, ski holiday sorted - Val D'Isere here come in February 8)

Working from home today which mainly involves authorising cash transfers so not a lot to do bu have to wait for lazy minions to send me the stuff to authorise. Later will be finishing off Christmas stuff and maybe a drink or two. I should really do some exercise but not sure I CBA.

Stevo, I'm not jealous as I won't be skiing this year and they are obviously paying you too much/you're embezzling nicely!

V68, not drinking, airport run! Does your car not have cup holders? Surely they'll fit a can of Stella or two!

    Good day tards of crudland,

Been out with the mrs getting the usual last minute supplies, family may be on the way if the ongoing passport faff resolves itself.
More house tidying etc then out for booze this evening.

Ps Tlw1 how was the wood chopping lesson?

    Bit of both probably :)

How can you be living in France and miss out on skiing after last seasons extravaganza? A bit like living next door to a brothel and not shagging next doors hookers :)

Happy day before food and drink excess day,

Family inbound as passports got sorted yesterday afternoon, they'll have driven through the night so will be battered, hoping the toddlers will be extremely sleepy, some whisky will help if not.

You could kip in our hire car, it'll be in an underground car park so you wouldn't die of hypothermia :)

Now farting around doing errands ehime Stropteen goes horse riding and wifey takes Muttley for a run round the woods. May go for a run later to burn off some lard.

Shoot sleep so I've given up trying and now lighting log burners and enjoying tea whilst waiting for the kids to wake up

Today is presents, nice breakfast and then over to the neighbours for drinks followed by the pub :) then the wife is driving us over to my parents for Christmas dinner with brothers family and grandparents (hence drinking before I get there)

Later is drinks at ours - hope you all have a good one

Tea? What have you done with the real Tlw1?

    Merry excess day worms,

Got the family here eventually yesterday so mrs 13 is happier, the two toddlers have so many presents they'll still be unwrapping next week.
Off to sort the animals then its the woodburner, bucks fizz, beer wine and spirits.

  • Morning Losers!

    Merry Christmas to you all!

My plans today are to go to church, then back here for my annual meeting with the brother over Christmas Dinner. Then in the afternoon, I'm heading over to my dog-walking friends house to deliver a feline Christmas Present that she knows nothing about. Should be exciting, mainly because I'm told they have whisky there! :D
