Yeah, was thinking maybe Cockerpoo or Cavapoo, Stevo.
One of my sisters has a Cockerpoo that is very quiet and shy. A friend has a Cavapoo that is non-stop and always entertaining.

I'm looking at a minimum of 6 years fees as well. Small and Shouty will be starting Uni as The Boy leaves. Blydi kids.
Go for it, they're great fun and much less maintenance than kids.

Trip to Cambridge was good and Stropteen liked it a lot. I was pretty impressed as well. Just the small job of getting a place. As for funding, looks like my folks' house will be turning itself into uni fees and student beer money. If anyone fancies a luxury North East des res close to the seaside let me know...

Isn't that a contradiction in terms? Didn't know luxury and North East could be used in the same sentence.
Busy day interspersed with dicking about on occasion. Beer and curry later.

Luxury in the North East refers to an inside bog.

Evening members of the third gender,

Mmmmm luxury hoose in the North East.............tempting!

Meanwhile over here it feels like we just got a lot closer to the sun and I'm not talking a news paper!

Today has been minor bits and bobs around and in the new Gite prior to our guests arriving tomorrow, our first paying guests! Hope they like it and don't pay too much attention to the loose soil covering the ditches that definitely do not contain any hookers!

    Afternoon dangleberries,

Mega hot here so the planned bbq will be cooked outside and eaten inside!

Our holiday Guests have arrived and are settling in the new gite, even bought me some Adnams ale so obvs they can stay as long as they like.

Why do you even need a BBQ in that weather bg? I guess the local.will be even more 'fragrant' than usual so best stay indoors :)

On the train home, just need to pack some stuff and jump in the car for the long slog North. Should get there by 1am...

    Morning, batty boys.

Not only is it Friday, but it's a half-day for me. 8)
    Midday I'm outta here.

Mow the lawns then a bike ride this afternoon followed by a barbecue this evening. Tomorrow off to Cardiff for the afternoon for food and boozes with friends before the Manic Street Preachers concert in Cardiff Castle. As a bonus it it forecast tpo remain dry and sunny.

    Morning loafers, layabouts and lardarses,

Barby went well, we even managed to get outside later on when the temp had dropped to the mid thirties! Had enough booze to kill a civvy as usual so not feeling too grand at the moment!

They closed the M11 last nights some tw@t in a lorry want through the central reservation and ended blocking our side of rhe motorway, so didn't get to Redka till 2am. Lucky I wasn't a few minutes ahead of schedule or I could have been embedded in the lorry...

Feeling a bit tired so fuelling up with large amounts of bacon and tea before getting stuck into more house related jobs.

Happy anniversary. The reminds me, our 20th anniversary isn't that far off so a trip to a petrol station selling flowers may be in order :)

Bit of a heavy night up in Durham with a mate and his OH. Ended up crashing out there and heading back to Redka this morning. Still got a fair bit done clearing house and garden and got an offer on the house, although a bit of a cheeky one. Now back down South and keeping the hounds cool with the garden sprinkler. They love it.

Tired now so a lazy evening beckons.

    Morning gusset sniffers,

Sitting in a cafe near the Barbican while junior does a music exam. Bit of peace 'n' quiet for now but didn't enjoy getting up early on a Sunday morning to drive her here!

It was our 24th anniversary yesterday, I splashed out and bought her some flowers in Sainsbury's whilst I was waiting for the chippy to get dinner ready. Bought her a card that said "I'm not bored of you yet"

And they say romance is dead!

    Morning, fluffers and stuffers.
Working from home today as we are having a new bathroom floor laid. The obligatory 2 e-mails before lunch and 2 after lunch will be sent in order to prove my dedication.

Manic Street Preachers were great on Saturday and Cardiff Castle is a brilliant venue for concerts. Off to another castle this weekend to see Public Service Broadcasting: Caerphilly Castle this time.

In other news The Boy has got himself a summer job working in a GP surgery doing admin stuff 3 days a week. That should reduce the frequency of demands for money, although I doubt they will entirely disappear. Let’s see how many pointless car journeys he makes now he has to pay for his petrol.

You should have got one of these special anniversary cards just to make the point about how much you still care:
