Good God! They come all they way from Canadanadia and end up in Mitcham, at least it's not Hanworth. We also have Canadanadian visitors, or at least the old dear does. But we wouldn't subject them to Mitcham, they are currently in Wimbledon but unfortunately for them have just been to Sweatland.
Back to work today, at least it's a short week.
I know, although to be fair I'd never met them before and Strifey was about 8 when she saw them last so they'd chosen to stay with one of their cousins in Mitcham, presumably unaware of just how much of an armpit it is. Times like that, the ability to do a quick getaway in The Panzer is handy, although not before securing an invite to drop in on them somewhere near Niagara Falls in the near future :)

Now at work making up the pedalling related calorie deficit with a large chicken katsu curry. Unfortunately I can't do much about the sleep deficit.

bg, think of it as building a wall to keep all the soap dodging locals out and that will give you the extra motivation to get it done. The Donald will be egging you on with chants of 'build that wall!'

In other news, the Mexican pole vault champion has just become the US pole vault champion.

    Evening gimps,

Rendered the wall that got built yesterday, it looks good and it's still keeping the Mexicans out, not a one. Mrs 13 appeared for a quick inspection just as Kylie came on the wireless, my comment that 'I'd wash it for her!' Went down really well!

More generic diy based blah tomorrow.

Evening knuckle shufflers, busy day at work and headed to the frozen North tomorrow to do some house sorting etc. Taking the train for a change so may have a drink on the way - should get there in time for the CL final.

    Evening fistees,
Bit of a slow day here which suited me just fine. Now watching the box with a cold beer. Not watching the gayball because I’m not that gay. Going to see the old dear tomorrow, might pedal over if I can be arsed.
Good watching expensive motors being used as intended bg, red ones do sound good.

    Evening 'Tards,

Done a shed load of sorting out, saw a few rellies and did some bg type stuff (mowed the lawn and trimmed the hedge). Have just been for a run as no bikes to ride here - next up is food and drink. And watch a bit of telly.

    Estate agents round tomorrow. Joy.

    'suuuuppp freaks

Today has involved sleeping after a weekend from hell with people's bloody animals before finally meandering into the office for a meeting this afternoon and maybe a bike ride later.

In other news during the weekend from hell I managed to get several fluids leaking from work's van so it's off the road for a while until it's fixed (slightly ironically as a result of me taking it offroad) but it won't actually affect me as I don't need to use it again for a few weeks so I'm currently finding it funny, because I'm a c0ck.

Just on the last leg of my journey back from the not so hot North. Got an estate agent sorted out and just need to get the back garden nuked before it goes up for sale.

    Sadly got work tomorrow.

    Morning c0cks,

Had an afternoon of clearing a patch of garden so the new gite has nicer views! There was quite a lot of brambles and despite wearing decent gloves and just like a member of the catholic clergy, i felt a few pricks! Today i will be finishing the area and putting in some plants and stuff!
In other news the tractor has a puncture!!!! Think it's coz i had the mrs using it the other day, won't be making that mistake again!

I was expecting this to involve digging ditches and hiding things under patios.

    Morning, chix with dix.

I have neither been interfering with animals nor breaking farm machinery. I have however been poorly bad and ill. All recovered now just in time for a work trip to Chester for 2 days. Oh, the romance of it all.

Sounds like the gite is coming along nicely, bg13. What are you going to do when it is finally done? A man can only partake of so much foods and boozes with the locals.

Alas, no. No time even if I did. We are expected to attend a 'networking' event tonight and will be in some seminar thing all day tomorrow.

Will be going to MTB Meetup at Llandegla in July though and can't wait.

First job is to get the back of the house cleared so I can see the bleedin' patio :) Bit of a 'nature reserve' out the back as there was no point spending ages trying to keep the back tidy when nobody can see it and I'm never there. I did take the estate agents point that it would help selling it - that and he'll have a job measuring it up and taking pics as he won't be able to get to the far end of the back garden as it is now.

Onwards an upwards including minion hunting. Then I'm going to get soaked on the way home.

Got another outbuilding that will become my 'party house' needs a fair bit of work but not as much as the gite. Darts, pool table, pole for the dancing ladies etc, also want to sort myself some beer brewing kit as well!

    Evening victims,

Had a lazy-ish one today, took the german whip in again to have another hub/sensor diagnosis, then did some more filling of plasterboard. Blimmin rained all day as well. Didn't come here for that sort of weather!

Bonjour Dickheads, just been out for a freebie wine and dine with a mate who is an advisor and can put it on his expense account. Can't say fairer than that, although Stressbag may not agree as it involved having a good laugh.
