How was that free gin, Stevo? Extra tasty, I'll wager.

Day 1 of a 3 day week over - headed North on Thursday night to talk to estate agents. Legs ache due to pedalling so attempting to sort that with wine.

No DIY, not much loafing but have the manflu. Need to get rid of it sharpish as I've got the day off on Friday to ride a bicycle between pubs.
    Rather moist out there today.

    Afternoon norklovers,

Did tiling today, mosaic tiles around the kitchen area, what a massive pain in the arris, thought about burning the place down so I didn't have to finish it! Doubt the visual effect was worth the pain!

In other news, manflu is getting slightly better in that I'm off the critical list, i know this as the leaking brain fluid has a neon green hue!

BG, I think we need pics of your little DIY project just to see how fantastic it is :)

Off home shortly to pack the car for the Northern trip. I get the joys of driving into work early tomorrow morning then escaping from The Big Smoke in the early evening. May need to put a cowcatcher on the front of The Panzer to speed up the journey and get me to the booze stash.

Just had a quick gander - a good French interpretation of the Bates Motel :) All that's missing is the 'about us' section with the League of Gentlemen style mugshots.

    Etes-vouz local? :)

Actually that's a pretty decent project bg. A decent pool for Barrymore style parties and plenty of room for bodies under the patio.

Reckon I'd get quite a few bodies down the well!

    Evening Ladies,

Today was fitting kitchen unit doors and handles then drilling holes in tiles to fit things on the wall in the wet room then sorting the telly shelf and sound bar, tomorrow is taking the german whip to the wizard for brakes and a sensor thing. Then hopefully a few scoops of grog.

    Morning gits,

Had the joys of a drive North but with some good footy on the radio. Pulled into the drive just as Hazard slotted home his penalty :) Now making a dent in the booze stash in the fridge. Estate agents visiting tomorrow to value the house.

    Morning, twonks.

It's only blinking Friday! Dead piggy meat based products are inbound and I'm only working a half day. Win.

La Loge looks nice, bg13. Do the spy cameras stay on at all times or would you do the decent thing and turn them off if a Crudder takes up residence?

This weekend will consist of boozes, curry, some more boozes, The Forest Boar Chase on Sunday and probably more boozes. I suspect SWMBO will also want 'some small jobs' doing as well just to ensure i don't actually enjoy the weekend too much.

It looks nice Jba but the proprietors are dipped in weird!! Cameras? What Cameras!

    Anyhoo,

    Morning spit roast receivers,

Just took car for minor fettling and pedalled back, it's only a few miles but i can tell I'm not used to it! I'm looking for a lift later as it's going to rain, anyone available?

Off over to the project.......again, progress is steady but i cannot wait to finish the b**ger!

Didn't you say there were no cameras in the lower ground 'Fritzl suite' that you were building for Maddie?

Evening 'tards, busy day sorting stuff, binning it and talking to estate agents. Now mulling over the stupidly large gap in their valuations with some extra strength tramp fuel.

    Morning Wasters,

More sorting out parents house and lots of driving South catching a few tons of insects along the way yesterday.

Just unpacked all the stuff I brought back and stashed the photos/ tapes/ slides/ cine films in the loft. Will bring the slide projector and cine film player thing home next time and bore the family senseless on a soggy Sunday. Amazing thing was that both worked after being stashed in a cupboard for decades.

    Morning, weird uns.
It's Monday and a new week beckons.
After a nice weekend of bikes* and and a couple of drinks it's back to reality. This week I get to go to the place with the big planes and Stevenage. I know. I am so lucky.

*Yesterday's Wild Boar Chase in FoD wasn't so nice. Too many long, draggy uphills for this old knacker.

    Afternoon drifters,
Long draggy uphills don't sound good JBA, I managed a longish ride on Friday and it was all flat. I strongly recommend riding along towpaths. Not only are they generally very flat but you tend to find quite a few establishments along them selling drinks. There were so many of these places we actually had to pass some without stopping. Luckily TLW doesn't look in on here very often so he shouldn't get too upset at the thought.
That place looks alright bg, no wonder you're so busy.
Stevo the projectors may work now, but will the shock of moving them south be enough to kill them off?
I'm bloody knackered today after a heavy three day weekend, didn't do anything yesterday but I'm still suffering. Just got to try and keep my eyes open until 5.30.

    Evening inebriates,

Usual day of chasing around diying and not achieving much, digger bloke has finished the patio that he started last week and there are no bodies, dead hookers or Maddies under it........honest officer!

Out on the tractor in a few minutes to move the pallets with broken slabs and blocks for building a wall alongside the patio. Tomorrow is a morning of painting and then out in the afternoon with the village oldies for some scoff, usually a pleasant occasion with less boozes than the hunt banquets!

I'll find out when I bring them down South - the boot was stuffed full of stuff on the return leg this weekend gone and I didn't want them crashing around on the back seat when I did my country lanes section of the way home, so next time.

Tedious day at the office dealing with idiots who CBA. Luckily it's cider o'clock followed by curry o'clock out in a sunny Big Smoke.

Did she parallel park it when she'd finished?

Evening gimps, too many idiots at work today, although sitting near the hot girl in marketing kind of compensated. About to eat a mahoosive pile of food as I've just pedalled home.

Well someone had to post here :)

Evening Felchers, end of a long week and I'm deservedly on the tramp fuel waiting for dinner to be served. Next week will be good, got a 2 day work jolly in Madrid and all I have to do is stand up and talk bollox for 15 minutes. Might go for a drive tomorrow, just because.
