    Good day pink oboe players!

Boozy couple of days fot t'wifes b'day and it looks set to continue later after a decent nose bag at a nice little restaurant.

Airport run tomorrow to drop off some chums and then back on the diy!

    Morning Gimps,

Today I'm clearing some crap out of the study (box room) as we're getting it redone for the first time since before we bought the place. Unlike bg I'll be paying someone to do the DIY as I couldn't be arsed even if I knew how :)

Another day, another dollar. Stressbag has been nagging me to get Stropteens car sorted out on the warranty and was a bit upset when I pointed out that a slightly notch gearbox going into first wasn't a warranty job and if she wanted shot of the problem she should sell it

    Morning freaks,

You could torch it and claim on the insurance Stevo.

Hangover from the weekend is still slightly apparent but I'll soldier on into the abyss of ropey diy.

I'd rather torch some twunts at work. Why is that that when you're busy all the twats come out of the woodwork with random requests. Rant over as I'm slurping wine now.

The usual, you been walking again bg?
Been stupidly busy lately, fewer idiots but still too many. More importantly off to the pub in a moment.

As posted on the other forum, I may get the running in of The Panzer done a week sooner than expected. The docs think my old dear is on her last lap so a trip North in the next day or two is now on the cards. Sh1t happens... :(

Well the good news is that thankfully she's not due to kick the bucket in the next couple of days so am sorting some more crap out in the meantime and headed up after work tomorrow night. This is when I'll really start to regret the fact that there's no ferkin CD player in the car.

You want music on your phone and blue teeth or something, works for me but I believe magic may be involved.
Busy day is done, might have a beer.
Hope all goes as well as it can Stevo.

Must get that sorted sometime. I've managed to Bluetooth the phone into the car so I can take calls while driving so I must be an IT genius.

Luckily there's plenty of digital radio stations to dip in and out of.

    Watcha, givers and takers.

I haven't been around for a while. I'd like to say it's due to the exciting, globe-trotting life style I lead, but that would be a lie. One of my best friends lost a long battle against the big C and it hit me a lot harder than I though it was going to. Sometimes life just throws you a curve ball, I suppose.

Anyhow, I'm back to talk bollox. I'm also considering riding a bike this weekend.

Sorry to read about your predicament, Stevo. I hope things work out as you can hope for.

I know it's not a very manly, butch thing to do but have you considered reading the distruction manual for your car to gain an insight in to how the magic blue teeths can let you hear music stored in an electronic format on your personal mobile communication device?

Thanks JBA. Sorry to hear about your mate, the big C needs wiping out.

The blue tooth thing isn't tricky, its not having a Spotify account or music on my phone that's the problem...onwards to radio stations during my 5 hour drive starting shortly.

    Evening beef bayonets,

Big C needs to fark orf!

Fitted a pair of sliding doors, all went well though 'the complicator' had a good go at 'helping!'

Weekend of blah based gardening blah!

    Toodles

Ps Stevo, do you need to let the valves warm up a bit longer before your car will play a 78?

    Afternoon gusset sniffers,

Back down South again for a few days, went via friends in Lincolnshire last night to take my mind off stuff and had a bit of a play in the car now that its past the running in period. Now on standby and will head back North if there's any news or if not, on Thursday night.

    Evening, welly wangers.
A day of toil today saw me mowing lawns, fettling bikes and tidying* the garage.
A quick visit to my sister this afternoon was rewarded with a cracking cottage pie and a drop or two of vino.
Day off tomorrow mountain biking in FoD with SWMBO. Should be a laugh.

    Evening lamb pistols,

Had a trip out to Poitiers today to get some diy supplies which in managements eyes counts as a day off!

I think its vino time tonight for me. Working at home tomorrow as at some point I'll be headed back North, just not sure exactly when I'll set off. The boss told me to push off so I'll take that literally for now.

    Evening, throbbing gristles.

A cracking few hours was spend in the sunshine at FoD today. The trail was running dry as a bone and there was hardly anyone there. Monday is the day to go, I think.
Got home and had some jet washer fun trying to clean the garage doors. It's a lost cause but fun all the same.

    A bientot, mes amis.

    Evening Spazwangles,

Sadly got a call to tell me that my old dear had shuffled off her mortal coil in the early hours. I was due to drive up and see her today today goodbye but was too late. Not the easiest day I've ever had but feeling better than I expected.

Thanks lads, busy day today dealing with the joys of undertakers and solicitors. Got to go see the vicar in a bit so I reckon I've earned myself a decent meal out washed down with some vino collapso.

More admin crap tomorrow then back down South in the afternoon.

Have you got some cider for company Stevo? This being the crudder means that’s all the sympathy you’ll get from me, living down south has made you soft etc, etc...
Still got so much of the old man’s stuff to sort. No rush, plenty of time. Next thing you know 6 months have gone by.
    Wednesday means pub for me.
