    Morning bumders

SWMBO is away. This is good and bad.

The good side is that she's away so I can do what I want, which bizarrely means I spend more time slobbing around but more time doing productive stuff too, so some DIY is in order.

The bad side is that I'm on call, which means I can't take full advantage of the fact she's away to vanish on my bike for a few days and or go out and get up to any manner of nefarious activities. However, the fact that I'm on call is also a good thing, as if I wasn't on call I'd have been dragged away myself, which would have meant a few days in the company of her mother.

In conclusion, happy days and I can't wait for tomorrow evening when I'm not working so I can get ratarsed.

The other bad side, "her" cat is a bit unwell so I have to clear up the stinking mess it keeps making. She mutter something about a vet taking a look at it, I'm not sure if she was insinuating something but I don't want to touch it because it keeps scratching me.

    Fnarr fnarr.

Jobs and more jobs today. Maybe a bit of football watching as well if time allows. Just tried out my new disklok on the old oil burner and bloody hell it's a chunky piece of kit. This is good...

Get a large dog while she's away - hey presto, no cat and a dog that doesn't need feeding for a while.

We get it, her pussy needs some attention!

Had a great afternoon watching the French getting a rugby lesson while drinking lots of their excellent but cheap red wine.

Really looking forward to watching Motd2 to watch Chelski getting a lesson off the Northern Monkeys, never did rate David Louise!

Evening Gimps and lovers of odd shaped balls,

It's my birthday today so Mrs. 666 is generously laying on a slap up birthday dinner and some extra plonk shortly :) Back to slaying the dragon tomorrow I guess...

Hb S666 nearly as old as V68!

    Evening donkeydikswallowers,

Had something tunnel into the chicken coup last night, two dead! So i spent the day upgrading defences for the three survivors! Then some minor diy occurred.

    Watcha, chix wiv dix.

    Happy birthday for yesterday, Stevo.

Tunnelling chicken killers don't sound too pleasant, bg13. Dig a moat around the chicken coup. That'll keep the bugger out and also look tres cool.

The Boy came home from school yesterday and announced that he is going on holiday to Magaluf in the summer with a couple of mates. I am already starting to worry!

Love the idea of a moat but we've moved the survivors to more secure accommodation.

    Evening wonkers,

We fitted the kitchen units to the wall today, it looks 'proper bo!' And Mrs13 is happy with it...........makes a change!
Why don't you go with the nipper JBA, purely to chaperone you understand, let me know if you need some help on that front?

    Thanks JBA.

bg, exactly how are you going to keep those French peasants out of your chicken coop?

Anyhow, I'm only just off home after a ferkin busy day. Not that I'm expecting a whole lot of sympathy when I get back.

The locals know that no tunneling is required here, they just feed me booze and I'm easy!

    Evening buttnuggets,

Stressful diy day, cut a big hole in the kitchen work top to fit the hob it looks good to me but need to wait for the lekky to do his thing before the hob is fitted!
    Possible tiling day tomorrow.

I've done enough exercise on the biketoday to warrant some plonk which makes Stressbag's requests for me to do random jobs seem somehow quieter and harder to hear :)

Last day in the office for the week tomorrow - yay.

    Afternoon Valentine's day optimists,
Lots going on, but none of it exciting enough to warrant posting about. Forgot it was Valentine's today and arranged to meet a bloke to flog the folks' old car. Need to get that done and get home quick as the EPO has got something special in for dinner. Unfortunately I suspect it's just food.
What are the filth like in Magaluf JBA, patient and understanding with drunk British teenagers? Will it be harder to get him sprung out of jail in the post-Brexit world?

JBA should go on one of those episodes of 'Sun, sex and suspicious parents' then he can see first hand.

    Evening all you womancers,

Headed home for hopefully a nice dinner but them I am an optimist. WFH tomorrow as the Mazduh goes in for its pre sale MOT so I get a little lie in :)

Yay, the jalopy passed its MOT so no need to spend another penny on it. Time to do the rounds of a few local Arthur Daleys tomorrow and see how much they can insult me with crap prices.

    Time for a beer soon...

I've now been suitably insulted on price but at least have a trade buyer lined up. Some of them wouldn't even touch a diesel FFS.

Sunday evening and work is looming...

Evening forum exiles, where is everyone?

Had fun today pointing out the imaginative naming of one of our meeting rooms. The girl in the comms dept was a bit embarrassed as she clearly knew why I was smirking when I asked how the 'Lovelace' room got its name :)

    Evening dix,

Fitted a satellite dish today and ran loads of co-ax all over the place, still no picture so some more investigation is required. Also gave the German whip a quick rinse, looks great.

    Busy day here.

Stropteen is off up in Cambridge and Stressbag went up with her but is coming back tonight, which means I have to give her a lift from the station and can't have a drink yet :( But currently it's peaceful...

That'd be me. She refused to get a taxi, probably because creating extra work for me seems to be one of her objectives  Polished off the tawny port once I got her back :)

    Evening Mongs,

Just cleared out the old jalopy ready for getting shot of it tomorrow and now demolishing some cider. My new CD's for the drive North next week have arrived - AC/DC, Motorhead - and Siouxie & The Banshees to be a bit sophisticated.

You probably didn't want to be English in a North Wales pub even if there wasn't any rugby on the box.

Most jobs done yesterday, so hopefully today will be a bit more chilled. Muttley is currently snoozing in the sunshine by the patio window so he's got the right attitude. Pity he can't do jobs, mind.

    Evening nudgers of the fudge,

Wouldn't mind a muttley type day myself! Been diying again, pointing walls that really should have been done a couple of years ago!

Onwards to electrical based fun tomorrow and maybe re-siting the satellite dish!

    Enjoy work you bell sniffers!

Fixed that for you, TLW1. :D

Morning, fans of the rusty sheriff’s badge.

I had a great weekend in West Wales with all the family celebrating my mum’s 80th. Saturday afternoon and evening in a pub in Tenby eating foods, drinking boozes and watching Wales’ marvellous win was a blast, although yesterday’s hangover wasn’t so welcome.

On a choo choo train now on the way to That London with SWMBO and the offspring for a few days. I have heard the streets are paved with gold!
